Vevor MIG-145 Review and setup/ Welding Machine Under $200

Thank you Vevor for sending me this product to review. This welding machine is a flux-core wire only machine with the capabilities to also run stick welding. It has settings for running lift tig as well, but doesn't have hook ups for gasses. The only real problem I had with the vevor mig-145 is the motors in the rollers seem very weak and if they were upgraded, this machine would be on a league of its own for the price range.
I'm using Lincoln Electric inner shield wire for this review and found that running the welder at 130 amps and about 20 volts was ideal for the best results.

Great straight forward review. I just ordered this welder yesterday thinking it had tig ability according to their add. Now I will have to return it because of the lack of the tig feature. Thank you for the review.
I bought semi-automatic, gasless, one knob (material thickness), 200 amps welder. Its wire feeder start slowly and then accelerate. Not used yet.

To this day I still have that problem with this welder. And I have yet to find what causes this.

does this welder come with the stick and tig wires? im pretty sure the argon for the lift tig goes through the line of the lift tig not the actual welder

It does not, they have to be bought separately
Another thing is that I believe the have certain tig guns and lines that have an external gas port? Not sure though.
I have this same welder and it seems that the amp dial is actually wire feed speed. I assume it actually is amps though when turned to stick mode.
Why do Mig/Fluxcore welders have a Voltage Knob Also, but Stick Dosen't.?

Wire feed machines are a constant voltage machine. So the voltage stays the same throughout the entire weld. Stick welders are a constant amperage machine, so the amperage stays the same but voltage can change throughout the weld.

@@FerrousPhoenix Ok, but its the Mig that has the 2 Knobs the user can actually turn... The Stick has 1...?

On Migs u can play with the Amp and Volt settings, on the Stick only the Amps...

welders don't like Plastic Wire Drive Motors........ Makes it Cheap.!
