Nice set-up, that is my go to bag as well, the only thing I don't see in it is a service wrench.

2 things 1st thing is I didn’t see an adjustable in there and 2nd sometimes it’s a good thing for your bag to bulge😅

How do you like the tplc compared to the mb3? Im debating on the 2 of them to upgrade to from my "first in" mb bag now that i have full fieldpiece probe set. I looked at a coworkers tpxl, but didnt like the small side pockets and no bit pockets in front

I really like this bag over the the mb3, the mb3 has its place but what it doesn’t really have is designated tool storage. That’s why I like this one! Now this tp-LC is tight but I’m not looking to overload it like so many do. The probes with fit for sure!

Nice setup! I'm still waiting for mine to come in the mail. I take it you prefer the Fieldpiece smart probes over the Testo smart probes? I haven't pulled the trigger on smart probes yet.

Definitely prefer the fieldpiece over the testo but I bought the testo first and instead of not using them, have a place for them! They are definitely game changers man. I have the yellow jacket titan p51-870 I don’t even use any more!

Noticed your issue with not carrying the fielpiece was the leads in the way, but noticed you put it back in your MCT with the amp clamp end down, maybe if you put it in the new bag that way it would work. I personally do not like my meters on the outside, no protection, they cost to much.

Absolutely! I didn’t really think when I put in my MCT that I did that lol 😂 but the main reason I don’t have the 480 in this bag is that I have my testo probes. I’m pretty OCD so to have the mismatched tools man would bug me (I know lame 😒) but I don’t bring my tools out into an environment if I don’t extremely have to. in terms of weather conditions! I’m extremely cautious and take high care of my stuff man! I appreciate the feedback for sure! Thanks 🤙🏻

For the tp-lc wheres your magnet for checking solenoids?

I don’t keep one in this bag. I have the cps one in the truck don’t tend use it all that often!

I have the MCT & TPLC. I go back and forth on which rooms I wanna load in which bag. I’ve always been a “have it and not need it” kinda guy, but it can kill the shoulders. I’m honestly trying to buy the exact same tools for both, but leave a few out of the LC. I’m conflicted haha

For sure! I have 3 bags all for separate tasks really but they generally can perform the same exact task to an extent. Especially if I’ll be in 2 locations but the same job I’ll have one bag inside and one bag outside And same as you they have the same tools in each but different manufacturers and maybe different. Variations but same concepts lol 😂

@@jmalmy2068 I don’t have a winter set, I live in Florida and it doesn’t get crazy here lol but I would say yeah if your in those conditions I’d load out a “beater bag” with some tools that’ll be in that environment, if it were me I’d prob load it with some decent stuff still but like channel lock, craftsman, some harbor freight stuff, things that’ll still stand up ya know 👍🏻

Don’t want to bring out the goodies in Bad environment lol I have a bag that is basically just Knipex tools and was servicing a condenser when the neighbors sprinklers started to go off. I was so pissed. Wiped it all down and their good lol but yeah I’m about an hour from Titusville

My everyday shoulder bag weight of 28 lbs gets heavy up and down roofs.
