Made me cry for knowing how kids lived back then during prophet’s time.

Feeling bad! I did so much bad stuff. I don't know why after doing that horrible stuff, I do feel extremely bad and do repent to the Almighty. But after a couple of days, I do involve in those activities. But Today after listening to this, I am feeling like Almighty wants me to watch and learn what repentance is!!!!! Please make a prayer for me May HE forgive me and us and bless us with strong willpower to avoid the fitna of shatan.

When I was a child, I had a backpack that I brought to the mosque every Saturday morning to learn the Quran. My friends and I always took the same route and spent the whole day at the mosque. Along the way, there was a shop window that displayed half-naked women pictures. Although we didn't fully understand what was depicted in the pictures, we instinctively knew it was wrong to look at them. Out of respect for Allah and taqwa, we always tried to hide our backpacks from these embarrassing images. We thought that we didn't show enough respect for our faith if we didn't hide them away. These were strange events for us as children. We wondered why such pictures were displayed in public. But we learned that it was important to respect our faith and stay away from things that could potentially shame us.

We're also used to seeing half-naked people in everyday life there. i mean, we're accustomed to their (the people in Europe's) everyday life with their semi-nude relationships. That doesn't mean we look at them, but it's normal there. We were kids back then and didn't know any better. But you still couldn't do anything about it because the poster was behind the window.

Whenever you're to seek knowledge its best for you to inquire and research the background of one's belief/creed (aqeedah) and methodology (manhaj), who has he taken knowledge from, who is he studying under, where has he done his studies, who does he sit with, who does he befriend or accompany.. Once you get the clear idea then you can decide if you should seek knowledge from him or not. This is not only for the scholars but also for those who claim to be one, who are speakers, preachers, any individual giving dawah etc.

You need to have respect for all the Sahabah We all Need to have Respect For All the Sahabah

Me too. Fear of Allah and Hellfire for his supposed sin caused it . Even though the prophet tried to console him by saying that Allah had forgiven him , he would not buy that. Poor child. How could he go to heaven, and the Day of judgment and resurrection has not reached?
