This Sahabi must have fought real hard against his nafs to forget the woman he loved. He must have gone through a roller coaster of emotions but his love for Allah won in the end. Bravo! What a man! A real Hero.

If so then blessed are they, for they must have achieved his pleasure. But if he wasn’t pleased with them, then this must mean they overpowered him. So was the present entity left without a God, an All-Hearing being who can hear prayers? And were the Heavens vacated, when he was placed under the earth and the dirt was above him? And was the Universe left without a God to manage it while his hands were being nailed down? And why didn’t the Angels help him when they heard him cry out (in pain)? And how could any wooden beam hold up a True God, while He is being fastened to it? And could any iron ever be brought to Him so that it would be driven inside Him and cause Him pain? And how strange is it? That a grave could be enclosed on a god. And even stranger is the womb that enclosed him (before.) Thus, he ate, drank, and after he answered the call which comes naturally. So is this really a god? High Exalted is Allah above the lies of the Christians. Each of whom will be asked about their fabrications. Oh, Cross worshippers, for what reason is someone exalted (for accepting this) and blameworthy for rejecting it? And is it not logical that we should break and burn (what humiliated Christ) and the one that made it? Since (you claim) that God was forcefully crucified upon it, with his hands nailed to it. For truly what a cursed cross to carry? Which one should discard instead of kissing when glanced upon. For (you claim) the Creator was abused upon it. Yet you appear to worship it, so are you one of His enemies? If you exalt it (i.e. the Cross) because it carried the Lord of all that exists,then why don’t you also prostrate and exalt the graves? For it was the grave that held your (so-called) god in it. Oh worshippers of Christ, Wake up. For this is what the matter is all about.

Marrying a non muslim woman is quite hard, but I taught her all about islam and she refused. Then she accepted it because she see how peace my children and I became with Islam as a way of life. Alhamdulillah

This story really broke my heart and made me cry. This Sahabi [RA] is a true inspiration for the Muslim men of today Alhamdulillah.

The fact that the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) remained silent and felt His (S.A.W)'s Sahabi went through! Subhan-Allah! " We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds" (Surah Al- Anbiyaa' , Verse107)

I also felt that I fell in love with a non muslim. But its easy to back off if its early meaning when you haven't been on a date with the girl yet. Just ignore her. Its been 4 years and I still sometimes think of her. But I've cut all paths (social media) etc. I'm no longer in love with her. Inn Sha Allah when I get married I'll be happy to start a new journey. Don't be casual guys(know that its haraam before marriage, stay away from non muslim women, keep telling yourself if you're in such environment)and don't get confused between attraction and love. May Allah guide all of us.

Marthad RA was a real hero of this religion. Not only did he fight the lust but he also fought the love he had for this woman for the sake of Allaah SWT. Allahu akbar

Welcome, O Marthad, come tonight and stay at our place.' I said: 'O 'Anaq, the Messenger of Allah has forbidden adultery.' She said: 'O people of the tents, this porcupine is the one who is taking your prisoners from Makkah to Al-Madinah!' I headed toward (the mountain of) Al-Khandamah, and eight men came after me. They came and stood over my head, and they urinated, and their urine reached me, but Allah caused them not to see me. Then I went to my companion (the prisoner) and brought him to Al-Arak, where I undid his fetters. Then I came to the Messenger of Allah and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I marry 'Anaq?' So I like a devout Christian girl, and we've been friends for 6 years now, I came from a conservative family, and we follow ahlus sunnah, I grown up with sirah nabawiyyah and sirah shahabiyah, reading Qur'an after maghrib everyday for the past 14 years, attend Ta'lim couple days a week, but strangely I became attached to this girl since the start of this year, I kept searching for reasons and dalil for me to justify my relationships until I met this video. I cried really hard, something inside my heart had just broken, my heart torn into pieces. I searched about theology, and I read lots of quora about different views on different faith until I reached the point where I began questioning Allah (Allahul musta'an), but there is nothing that made sense and nothing parallel with my heart. This video is what I needed, there is a reason this video came to me, may Allah forgive me. Is it wrong if I pray for Allah to give her hidayah? May Allah guide us all.

I say that to say Im not going to lie I got interested in Islam because my soulmate is Muslim. We aren't together physically but we have a strong undeniable connection. As I learn more and more about Islam I love the way Muslims love and revere God. So have faith. If it's meant to be it will be. I hope it will be. What a beautiful thought to imagine reverting to Islam and Allah blessing me to marry my soulmate...I just want to hope for a second longer ❤ but if I don't that's ok Islam and just loving God period is the best thing life has to offer

Yes the Sahabah of the Prophet were amazing. Their stories are inspiring. I politely rejected 14 proposals from guys when I was in college just because of this Hadith of the Prophet(s) that a youth who gives up a romantic relationship outside of marriage for attaining the love of Allah will be given special status by Him on the Day of Judgment. Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There are seven whom Allah will shade on a day when there is no shade but His. They are 1 a just ruler, 2 a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, 3 one whose heart is attached to the mosques, 4 two people who love each other, meet each other, and depart from each other for the sake of Allah 5. a man who is tempted by a beautiful woman of high status but he rejects her, saying , ‘I fear Allah' 6. and one who spends in charity and hides it such that his right hand does not know what his left hand has given, 7 and one who remembered Allah in private and he wept.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 660, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1031

Tell me that you are not serious! Is it a role model the one who rejects Allah's love? Grow up! This love story did not have a happy ending because the man did not accept Allah's creation. Who is the woman in this story? A non-muslim woman! Why did the man punish her by leaving her and rather choosing a life of loneliness and pain? Can you tell your heart not to love? Try to do it and see what happens! Who created that woman? Allah! Who is the love? Allah! What does this tell you? Do you know that this man just like many others after him have never found a true love? Why? Because they stopped listening to the voice of their heart. Their ego overtook their hearts. An ego that made them to feel guilty and ashamed for what they did. But why, when life is all about the lessons and our personal growth? Love conquers everything! Those who preach this love story to others, are misleading masses by making them believe that it is a major sin to love a non-religious woman or a non-religious man! Didn't Allah create us all equally? This man and many others like him failed this Allah's test miserably.

@@imrandar9831 She felt rejected. His life was not in danger because he was protected by an invisible force and that is Allah. He ran away from fear because that is what his ego made him believe that he would be killed. The woman simply triggered a past life memory in this man when he was killed because of a betrayal. And because of this trauma, he himself felt betrayed again. This happened because of a conflict between his emotions and ego. And the woman represents all the women who have been abused by muslims. For you as a man is hard to understand my words as your heart is blocked. Why? Because you backfired at me by pointing at the woman's actions and defending a man. Strongly advise you to visit women shelters for you to see the emotional impact of one's actions. Let's say, you love someone who is the opposite of you, what you gonna do? Are you going to accept Allah's love through this woman or reject it because islamic preachers are making you believe that this is not allowed in Islam? Do you know that your prophet is the greatest teacher that Islam ever had who always teaches you to choose Allah's love? Do you know how many love stories ended tragically because of religions?

​@@ivetabombalova3933 We are not against oppressing women in Islam. Women are the companions of Men and fulfill our hearts. We love them. They are our Mothers, Wives, and Daughters. They need emotional love and care. However that does not mean we are willing to compromise our principles of sleeping outside of marriage. If that woman chose to accept Islam and believe then she could have spent the life with this man. But she didn't do that and preferred zinna (unlawful sexual means). He still have love for her yes but his love for God was the greatest and that kept him going through in his life.

Chapter: Exoneration Of The Prophet's Concubine A person was charged with fornication with the slavegirl of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Thereupon he said to Ali: Go and strike his neck. Ali found him in a well. Ali said to him: Come out, and as he brought him out, he found that his sexual organ had been cut. Ali refrained from striking his neck. He came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said: He has not even the sexual organ with him. Sahih Muslim 2771

This can relate to people who have migrated from being an ignorant or sinner. when people are attached to something that is pleasing them and making them very happy, or is memorable. Allah is the one who guides, and when a person in on the right path, trials will be afflicted on him/her for Allah to see the faith that one has in Him. Marthad was one of the example; He gave up a woman who he loved, Allah tested him with facing potential death by being chased, and with getting peed on. Marthad left something that was hard for the SAKE OF ALLAH. we know that when two hearts are attached, it is painful to forget and release the bond, it's happening in this world. HE GAVE UP! and Allah replaced it on him with 6 TREMENDOUS BLESSINGS: 1)A MIRACLE TOWARDS A NORMAL PERSON 2)AN AYAH FROM ALLAH 3)A HAPPINESS AFTER ALLAH HAS CONSIDERED HIM AS A BELIEVER 4) A STUDENT OF THE PROPHET 5) A SHADE IN THE HEREAFTER 6) A MARTYR Leave something for the sake of Allah. Life is all about the lessons. So what do you want to repent on? That you fell in love with a non-religious person? Didn't Allah create us all equally? Be careful because this love story has been passed on to all of you muslim men and muslim women as this man rejected love which the woman represents. In other words, he rejected Allah's love as the woman is a reflection of Allah's love for this man. And the love lesson will continue until the day, a brave muslim man will come out and say, "I love this woman, and no matter whether or not she is religious, different nationality, race and colour, or different social status, because Allah sent her to me to teach me to always follow the voice of my heart because that is where Allah's love resides." So I advice to all of you to forgive this man and many others like him for walking away from Allah's love. As his actions have impacted all muslim generations who were born after he passed away. Therefore more and more muslims will have to face this love test of falling in love with a non-muslim women or non-muslim men and vice versa. Until this day nobody throughout history was able to pass this love test. Allah is crying!
