Very dangerous abandoned Italianate style 1800's farmhouse. Explore #71
Ontario, Canada
This farmhouse sits abandoned probably since 2010. It looked like a Chinese family lived here last and maybe rented the house or used the property for farming. I exact year the house was built is unknown but its believed to have been built in 1875-1895. This house is fully bricked and is an Italianate style farmhouse. The roof is now leaking pretty bad so the house is quickly decaying.

About me:
I have been exploring abandoned places since I was a child and now I would like to film the explores and share the videos with you.
My father took me to my first abandoned house when I was 7 years old. I remember going into the house and a old farmer came in and told us "we better watch out as the floors are all rotten and unsafe". Ever since that day I was hooked on exploring abandoned places.
If you have a location you would like to share with me or want me to explore for you please send me an email at abandonedurbexcanada@hotmail.com and I will give you full credit for the share in the description and during the video if you choose.

There always has to be 1 bumhole who gives a thumbs down🙄 I have been watching a few other explorer video accounts. You remain my favorite because of several reasons. Your drone skills are fantastic, and the music you pair each scene with really draws in your audience. Great job! I appreciate that you video your walk up to the house. You have just taken your audience along with you on your adventure!👍 I don't know if the following is true for everyone, but it is the main reason I love your videos so much. You video your actual progression through the explore! I know that sounds ridiculous but seriously how many other channels start videotaping in the kitchen and then go down a hall to a bathroom. Well how did you get in? Brent you show the front entrance, you step in, YOU CENTER YOURSELF, you move the camera around and observe(like we would do if we were actually right there ourselves!), and then you go either left or right, room to room. I have watched all of your videos. You have skills my friend. Can't wait until you take us along on your next explore😊 Let's go 👉

Crazy house. It really shows how a damaged/leaking roof can really ruin a house faster than open windows. LOVED the bird nest on the ceiling fan. Stay warm and thanks Brent.

The basement felt warm because if you dig down 8-10 ft. the ground temperature is always around 40 deg. F. That's why most houses in colder zones have basements, it helps keep the house warm. Houses built on slabs are always colder and cost more to heat, which is why they're more common in southern states.

No basements in New Orleans. They would all be flooded. That’s why they don’t bury people in the ground either.

I love this house! It has beautiful doors and rather ornate woodwork, both of which I love. But Oh My Goodness those wild colors they used!!! Maybe they let their kids pick those colors. Or maybe they actually LIKED those colors. As always, thank you for sharing this video with us! Buy some hand warmers to stick into your coat pockets.
Definitely looks like a farmer came into some money back in the day! There is such a difference from the older second section of the house and what looks like the first part with all the huge rooms. Thank you for NOT falling through any of the floors (Mental note, my dream house must have a metal roof!) and MANY MANY thanks for at least looking up in the attic . . . I can't resist attics :)
I like how you put the video tape back after you pulled it out...very respectable
Cool house with neat little surprises, the birds nest and red stained glass window. This house is giving off an illegal activities vibe, I’m thinking Cock fighting, but I’m hoping nothing nefarious like that was going on. Nice find!

As soon as you said, "Hello", I said "Housekeeping" before you did. I haven't heard you give that greeting for awhile. Keeping livestock in the house seems strange; baby chicks I could see until they are more mature. The decay must have started before they left, but a nice find anyway. That Polar Vortex sure has caused a drop in temperatures. Stay safe and warm.

Hey Brent! A great find and explore (as usual!!!) It's amazing to me how some places decay so quickly (10 - 11 years by the calendars you found) and other explores are nowhere near as bad. That cold and damp certainly will deteriorate a house more quickly than somewhere. Could be fixed up though a roof repair and certainly plenty of housekeeping! And we thought Scotland was cold this time of year, wrap up warm Brent! I actually feel warmer after watching this haha. Great vid
