many great creative choices on packaging in the tape world, especially when you dive in to the noise scene, weird ultra limited releases being made all the time. thanks for the videos btw, it's great inspiration for someone running a small diy label on their own.

Yeah idk if you’ll see this, but I just came across a really cool CD design for Sift The Noise by Skipping Girl Vinegar (Melbourne-Based Australian alternative band). The CD is based on a worn-out red book with embossing on the front and bad. Also the bottom of the side has the numbers you would see when renting a book. When you open it the inside shows a glued-on floppy piece of paper with signatures of those who ‘rented’ the ‘book’ alongside the ‘title page’. When you flip the right side of the trifold, the tracks are labelled as chapters with their song lengths. Also the booklets are thin like a mini replica of an old book and the CD is designed like a record. Really classy design for an amazing album!

Cool series (I know it's 7 years old...) How about the 'star box' edition of Hans Zimmer's 'Interstellar' soundtrack, that shines lights through holes in the top of the box (i.e. onto your ceiling) when you open it? (Triggered by a little magnetic clasp)

My cd of Tenacious D's The Pick of Destiny has a lenticular image, it's just a plastic sheet with the art that goes in front of the booklet. It's a little disappointing, the image doesn't really move at all, it just looks a little bit 3D, but still way cooler than it would be without.

The nine inch nails one has a hidden message idk if it works anymore but when the cd came out you would convert the numbers then it would make a link to a website and the cd has a story and at the time had a real life game and such it was cool but most people don't know. Look it up next time and read up about it, it is pretty cool.
