Hello mate, thank you for subscribing I am glad you found the video help. As you have the V2.0 your gears should be able to handle brushless and this type of system would be perfect 👍

I just put one in my Rustler 2wd, and it's incredible on 3s.

just bought 2 of them Esc & 4370kv motor £25.99 on Amazon ... and a 3rd Esc & 5200kv motor £32.99 Amazon

Using this motor in a school project and we have to spend the lowest amount of money and we have got this motor on the car to go 50mph and it is plenty fast enough

Planning on putting it on a Traxxas Ruster 2wd on a 2s lipo, stock gearing. do you think it will hit 50? how fast did the stampede go?

Hi mate, no the rustler will not hit 50 on 2s, with this brushless system or any other really, the stock gear ratio is too low and 2s is not enough power, if you want it to hit 50mph you will need 3s and change the gearing👍 happy rcing

Stock gearing will be fine mate

Just playing with these but whats a max voltage one could pump into one of these assuming its nit over speeding due to load? And what would be a good water cooled esc for such an application? Or even just a good esc thats cheap enough to modify.

Hi mate, 11.1v max for these. And I personally would not bother with water cooling, a good fan will work better then a water cooled system as the esc in not enclosed, water cooling is more for enclosed systems like boats or PCs.

@@MarcRCAddict I'm doing a boat lol what would be a good place to start for something that can take 48v moderately well? Kinda of a big boat lol. Ideally I wanna run it off tool batteries in series but I'm willing to try other things. I'm hoping for somewhere in the 3-10hp range as in 3 would work 10 would be as far as I'd be okay with going.

Depends on the model your running it in mate but to be honest I run these in 4 different models and all have different gearing 👍

I got mine as a kit from my local Rc shop, Modelsport but you should be able to find them online..

how reliable is it i dont have the best reputation with cheaper esc and motor combos as they tend to burn out on me claiming they can handle so much voltage but never can

I’ve been using there’s for a few years now on 2s and 3s not had an issue as yet mate

Do you run the 4370 motor on 3s? Its only rated for 12v max? 3s is a little bit more volts

a fully charged lipo cell is 4.2v. 3.7v is 50% of usable capacity.

Will it work on a 4wd Traxxas Stampede, 2 or 3s?

I bought one for £60 from my local hobby shop and shortly after it went up in smoke on a 2s lipo 💀

That’s insane, first off they charged way too much and it also sounds like it was faulty, did they refund or replace it for you?

isnt 3.1 volts really bad for a 2s lipo???? i thougth 3.2v is the lowest you should go
