In this video, we'll be comparing three different motor ESC combos in various price ranges. First off, we'll take a look at the real cheap combo, which includes a low-cost brushless motor and ESC. We'll test its performance with various voltage inputs and assess its durability. In comparison, we'll then examine the mid-price range combo and assess its key features, including its performance and power output. Lastly, we'll explore the expensive combo, which includes state-of-the-art components, enhanced technologies, and a powerful, efficient motor-ESC pairing. By comparing the three different combos in different price ranges, we'll provide insightful analysis and make recommendations for which combo best meets your needs, offering tips and suggestions on how to choose the right setup for your budget.

No the surpass hobby he ran a motor with much higher rpm per voltage (Castle 3800kv up to a 5200kv for Surpass) That's why it is so fast. Not much to do with the esc. The Castle on 4S would make that same motor do like 90mph. Very misleading unfortunately.

Good video. Looking to get my hands on a Kyosho Fazer and throw a mid-brushless motor in it along w/ a name-brand ESC (prob). Interesting how the mid-one was a good bit faster on 3s than name-brand. Prob burns out faster too, which is why I plan on getting a good ESC & then have no prob dropping $30-40 occasionally if/when the motor burns out.

Its a good comparison to find out whuch of the esc whould have the most feel not so much a speedrun, since it seems all 3 motors have different KV ratings which will have influence on the speed. I am sure the copperhead is the best of the 3 esc since it can be tuned pretty good even has the cheat mode which changes the timing. The test would have been a bit better with just different esc and the same motor for the test. However i get the idea of the combo test and it showed that the cheapest one has a lot of delay in response since it probably wont pack a lot of punch. Anyways good overall video and some good basic info for someone who just gets into the hobby

What kv? Guarantee a 3800 kv castle will be slower than a 7700kv cheapo with the same voltage. Also castle esc is also completely customizable programming wise. The Bluetooth Castle link is decent. Use the castle esc on the surpass motor and you will end up at the same speed as the surpass combo. Kv is super important factor that needs to be known for any of this to make sense.

Can you go back in the video description and lost all of the stats for each motor. You can always put in the subtitles that you were doing this so people know to look for it. @@NoFluffRC thanks for the information. Again I love what you’re doing here. It’s just that it’s not really a meaningful test unless they are all on an even playing field. You could get a really cheap motor with a much higher KV rating than a expensive motor and it will run faster…. No question at all. Most of these motors come in many different KV ratings so you should be able to get similar speced ones.👍 I have had really good luck with a XTeam motor in my Bandit hitting nearly 100 mph at 3s… but I had to modify the motor with longer wires to make it fit… that could be a good one to add. Surpass, Castle, maybe King Val…. Traxxas Velineon, Spektrum maybe. I appreciate it will not be able to do everything because it will get really expensive really quickly!

I have that same cheap esc and it is laggy because of a low punch setting I know because mine cane with a manual and that esc works great for me an long as you are on the throttle just a little bit then punch it, you can trick it.

Well the KV was very different. Had I geared it different I probably could have cranked it up. But making that video killed me and I just wanted it finished so I kept it all the same

90$ for the surpass combo 😂😂 they didn't just see you coming they heard & invited you😂. Its 23£ for that motor, card & esc. I dont understand most people they say "I'll never buy from China, i use ebay" yeah they pay 20% more & are buying from the same seller thats on ali express. I could name 3 of my top stores that charge 10-20% more on ebay as there official store on ali express. The sellers will even lie to you on ebay, in the advert, they say uk or usa stock, iv scrolled down to seller info & there in hong kong😮 iv questioned them, they even say uk stock but delivery takes 5--9 days when uk is 3 days. They ship from China with fast shipping. Just go direct to there ali express store, it 20% cheaper, & they dont lie

Cool video bro.. But you didn't really have much luck with the "PREMIUM" setup.. I've been sticking Hobbywing esc's in all my cars. Nice and cheap off aliexpress and I've always had good results.. I'm fully aware that the castle creations of this world are premium and come with some very nice features, but i don't think I'll ever buy them. I'm more than happy with inexpensive hobbywing.. Your obviously 100% correct with those silly blue esc's, they really are crap. And probably caused more fires than the US military.. And those surpass esc's are RIDICULOUSLY HUUUUGE.!! 🤣🤣 I'll never buy them either... Great video bro.. 👍 Liked and subbed Gonna check out more of your vids 👍

Yeah so the surpass is the best. Seems you didnt setup the esc's at all but ran it out of the box. Castle is allready programed were surpass is not.
