Akchually 🤓 the rhythm is still right and it uses a (6+5)/8 time signature But yea it took me a while to notice the pattern. And the "...right-ight" part is indeed off rhythm

I like how the background town looks entirely different from the beginning, it demonstrates that the storm has passed and Vertin has braved it "Its the end of an era and i still survived"

Vertin an amazing protagonist, it took a while to get used to not being a voiceless protagonist like other games. but once you do get used to her. it’s actually so fascinating, you get to see the fascinating world of reverse 1999 from a character who truly has a goal, a purpose and a drive. Love this game

EP are usually separated tracks from the game so maybe they wont add it to story mode It sounds pretty fitting for a credit song after an arc tho

I have never become so attached to a main character like I have with Vertin. She’s beautifully written and unlike other female characters in many of these games, she’s strong minded, stands out, and has fantastic design and lore. Phenomenal job done on this game.

Vertin's one of those main characters that actually does seem to help her teammates and not just commanding them from afar. She can go one-on-one with her enemies and actually have a chance to win. It's unlike other gacha games where the mc feels like they just stand there doing nothing.

And compared to silent protagonists that are meant to be a insert for the player are devoid of personality of standing motivations. Vertin has all of them. She has goals, aspirations, feelings and a whole lot more, she feels and acts human, you see her at her best and at her worst. You come to see why she is the way she is, She doesn’t trust the Pavlov foundation but isn’t afraid to lean on them if need be. But she’s also chasing after the truth more than the Pavlov foundation ever could. She puts herself in the line of fire and does so much to protect people, while the Pavlov foundation only seems to care more for order and control. She wants the storm solved she wants it gone and it shows. Vertin is an astounding character with personality, hope, goals and feelings and that’s something so few gacha games can manage to do.

I just love Vertin so much at this point

Star rail has great characters and the gameplay is solid, but for me they keep dropping the ball on the main story and it's been really disappointing... While Bluepoch over here exploded right out of the gate with a compelling hook for their narrative and I've been absolutely immersed in the Reverse 1999 universe from the start 😤

Id stay playing the game just for Vertin. Such a lovable MC

You know a story is well written when you can pick up on details that only make sense after a second reading. Much like how this song is much more impactful after understanding Vertin's background a bit more.

Got to say. Vertin is hands down the best MC I've ever experienced playing with in a gacha game. Most gachas wouldn't even bother focusing on the MC because you can't sell the MC. Reverse 1999 just did the reverse. Pun intended. When gacha games do this, I tend to forgo the gacha aspect and respect the game's story. Close second is the commandant in PGR rocking his Gloc against enemies 100x his size. 😂

That too but another reason many gacha games do that is so that the player can portray themselves on the mc A good example of this is Blue Archive’s Sensei, he has a clear character and plays an extremely important role in the story but they never bother to actually show what he looks like and everything. + Not saying that it’s the better way than what R99 did or vice versa, it’s just a different way of writing an mc

@@goggalcon2556 I totally understand. But to be honest, I prefer a more concrete and focused writing like what Reverse 1999 is doing. There are some MCs where you get a balance of self-insert MC and a detached narrative-focused once like the Tenno in Warframe which is probably one of the best implemented self-insert MCs in a game. The commandant in PGR is also similar to that of Blue Archive playing an important role. What I don't like is the fan servicey feel of characters around the self-insert MC. But on detached MCs like Vertin, It's almost, if not non-existent at all.

This is one of the few times where I found the MC overshadows everyone else when it comes to intrigue and that intrigue being JUSTIFIED.

Adam GOATman just sends me every single time. Never have I been disappointed in this man's composing. really is the GOATman afterall

Before i knew it, i was already at the end of chapter 4, I didn't even feel any tiredness once i was done, just pure satisfaction. ❤❤

Patch 1.1 was so empty without Vertin in the story event. Well, at least Mr. APPLe and Pickles interactions could stole the show. Lol Now in 1.2 we can hear Vertin voice again. I'm so glad she handled the crisis in the story perfectly. She is indeed the best MC in gacha games.
