This is a positive example of the crew trusting each other. Initially the ball stars on the strong side with a diagonal drive and then a pass of on the center side. The defender jumps off of 2 feet and attempts to contest the shot by putting his arms vertically over his head. The Lead can see the lateral movement of the defender but cannot see up through the rim/backboard on this play. The center gets below the matchup in front of him to get an angle on the play and the Trail has his weight forward engaged as well. Great job by the crew to trust the system and allow this play to continue.
