Clip was pushed up and can't pull down to attach blind

Thank-you! Thanks to yourself and your video I figured out how to fix my curtains !!

As I watched this video it was extremely helpful and informative, but missed one thing that both happened to me and I checked, and found my problem. The vanes were turned (inward) so I reversed them and everything worked perfectly! Thank you again.

I have fabric slats with iron weight piece at bottom. Our slats are not easy to come out from the plastic hook up there and many of these clips are split and broken. You did not mention anything about the clips. Can you please tell what to do if the plastic hooks engaging the slats are broke open.

I didn’t know I had to open the blinds before drawing them back. Now they are stuck halfway, and won’t move in either direction.What can I do to avoid breaking them? Update: I used a long screwdriver as leverage to separate and move the hooks so the panels are back where they belong. So I’m good, but my runners must need lubricating or something. Because when the slats are open, and I try to dray them back, they don’t move very well. I don’t want to pull the cord to force them. What should I do? Thank you.

What about clips slats attach to, how do you race those?

Is it possible to repair the string that draws open the slats from left to right? The slats still turn but they no longer open from left to right because the string seems to have come off its track. The string will pull the tracks to the left but to push them back to the right you have to do this by hand.

Thank u. I was able to fix 1 of them. On my other blinds its closed but still let's light in. Idk if I lean to the side I can see outside. I tried to tighten but maybe there just getting old

When I ordered my vertical blinds, I ordered extra vertical slats so if one 1were damaged or broken, I could just swap it out.

if you have torn the hole on the end of the slat that clips in to hang, flip the blind over and make a new slot/hole with a paper punch, punch a single hole in the center then nibble left and right to make it like a slot and rehang it.

where can you buy the vertical head rail?

I made a mistake of spraying down the rail with WD-40 and now I’m having an issue sliding it back-and-forth. What is the correct way to lubricate the rail? I’ve used multiple lubricants running it down the rail and it leaks all down the blinds and on the floor. I’m using blaster silicone lubricant.

I have an 8 foot valence on 5 clips that always has a warp in it. Tried 2 people pulling at either end...didn't work. Anyone have a solution? Clips and brackets all appear to be in straight. Maybe the wall isn't perfectly straight?

What can be done if the blinds only retract on one side? They rotate fine. But when I pull the cord to move the slats to the sides (they open from the middle and collect on each side), only one side retracts. The other I have to move by hand. Is there a way to “restring” this?

Hey there, I'm having another issue with my blinds. When I try to turn the wand to let partial light in it only opens about 10% and never anymore, very frustrating. My only option is to completely pull the whole blind open but then everyone can see inside. Do you have a fix or do I need new blinds please?
