Dude.....folks don't know how effing good Hosoi was back in the 80's.... First skater to get sponsors outside of the industry......shit he made a fortune from camera companies, swatch watches.....and always had the illest gear......he was welcome in the Hollywood parties too....used to roll in black limos with his crew... True legend.....💪

And not even just skate. Cab was bouncing back from injury apparently. Watch his speed. His consistency wall to wall. It’s kinda unreal if you think about it. Truly the definition of body in motion, STAYS in motion. 🤙🤙🤙

The fact that Cab is approaching age 60 and is still skating a full size vert ramp just blows my mind. No one thought skateboarders could keep doing it this long.

No shit huh.....??? The guy went pro at like 12 yes old crazy loco OG man....living legend..... Cab did it all back in the day, for a while he had the longest board slide on a handrail.......just so rad....💯

Dude, Caballero and Hosoi... Imagine skating with these two, your whole life, like Bucky has. They are always smiling and being awesome. You had a bad day, watch a video of them, and suddenly the day gets better, just seeing their smiles. Legends.

Maybe sober for a day but healthy?

It was crazy seeing Bucky Driving from Restaurant Row in San Marcos to RSF Rd (near where I live) to that skate shop that I didn't know was there in the old Vons Center. I'm turning 60 in March 2023 and I used to work at Thrasher Mag in 1987. I know Cab moved here a few years ago, saw him at the Home Depot and it just stirs up a bunch of memories I had from the 1980's in the Navy in Japan to meeting Cab at his concert in Orinda, CA where I met him I think in '82 and through him met MoFo and got a job at Thrasher. Skate on my Brothers!

I respect all the different kinds of skaters, but vert is BEAUTIFUL, and these vert KINGS are still killin' it!

Christians style is so effortless and just buttery smooth. Good to see Bam hanging out too!!!

I love seeing the full range of ages shredding together.

Bucky is such a cool dude, and my favourite vert skater, such unique style.

Great to see my idols when I was a young skater, still doin it. Haven’t been on a board in years. Fact that skating flows in these guys veins. I can’t believe how fast time goes by. My friends and I would watch a bones brigade vhs before we went on a session and look for chin, all of course just so inspired by what we just watched. So awesome to see these guys.

Everyone was so good to watch, but I especially enjoyed seeing Alphonzo on vert. He has always had one of the best styles on every terrain. Would love to see more vert footage of Alph.

Seeing Bucky and Cab still skating today is freaking insane man. I remember all those days and nights after school playing THPS 1, 2 and 3 then some of the other games a few years later. THUG 1 was my favorite skating game for so many years...

I skated from 86 to 90 and these guys were my heroes and they're still doing it that blows my mind 💯 respect

I was in high school when Bucky hit the scene, we all knew he was something special. Here we are more than 30 years later and he's still competing!

The main thing I love about skating is how stoked other skaters get when you finally stomp something you've been trying. Regardless of how big or small the trick is they get so stoked for you. At the park in my hometown everyone knew everyone else and knew what everyone was working on so when you'd finally stomp it the whole park would be cheering. I miss those days. Don't know how yall can still skate at this level. I took a hipper awhile back on flat ground and was outta commission for a week. Lol. Good to see yall still killin it

Good to see Holmes skating so well.

Love how Bucky is still pushing his limits and pulling tricks I've never seen him pull and he's just messing around with the homies. I also need to shout out the younger generation guys like Wilkins who's connecting the older generation tricks with the newer generation of flip tricks and making it all look new and fresh and buttery. Just warms my heart they're making sure those tricks stay alive as they take the torch and put their own stamp on it. They could easily just toss that history in the trash bin, but they haven't. Massive props out to them.

I met Alphonzo in the early 90s at a skatepark in IL. He signed my Powell Blind Ripper deck. (Deck where Powell was mocking Blind). Still have it!

I reckon it was about 35 years ago when I videotaped Transworld Sports off tv that showed a vert comp with Christian where he pulled off a McTwist… completely blew my mind back then and to see him and the others still riding is amazing. Huge respect 🫡
