@@buckyeah3382 Heyyyy, Right on Bucky!!! Loving your videos!!! You're awesome man!! Fellow old skater and import car guy here🤙✌️
So sick. Probably so much that could be done playing around with the carbon layup to dial in the exact feel you want.
Jeromy's frontside smith...
So awesome ! Great to see Paul and Jeromy and the others tearing it up ! I think you could actually integrate the baseplates into the deck and save the need for mounting hardware too.

This is me hitting you up! Sick board Bucky!
Back in the day when I skated my ass off ( all through ‘70’s into early / mid 80’s ) whenever I switched to a new deck / truck / wheel combo , it would take me about a day or two to acclimate to the new setup . I do remember going from a good old G&S fiber flex deck to a Tom Simms “ Doug DeMontmorency “ deck was an eye opener . Those early all wood 10” wide decks with the Tracker X-track trucks were game changers . Now I’m 63-1/2 years old & still skate on occasion ( got a “ Shitbird “ deck with Indy trucks & Alva’s for wheels ) & can say without a doubt that since getting my first ever Skateboard at 7 years old up until now it’s something you get addicted to for sure . Kept me young , and limber compared to some of my friends who quit long ago . Thanks Bucky for sharing your latest here with us all , and Keep on Keeping on man 😎👍
That is an awesome killer deck amazing stunning the grip tape is awesome and what an amazing board I would definitely buy that if that board was in the market I would definitely bought it what a sick board that is one awesome board

Amazing board ❤ Send me that grip 😂🤝
That pop sounds SOOOO crisp!! Maybe try some rubber shock risers w it to absorb some vibration? I remember when I made the transition from old school boards to modern 'popsicle sticks' boards in the early 90's, I struggled at first w the weight difference badly at first but like any true skater I adapted and quickly realized how easier a lighter set up was. Cant say I miss the tiny wheels lol. As a crusty old over the hill has been, Id definitely try this out! Keep innovating and pushing the limits Bucky!
Cool use of that cutting machine. Every skateshop needs one of those for gripping boards.

EVERYONE was skating so good! What a session to watch.
That board setup was next level!! 🤘🏻
Such a sick board!! Love ya Bucky, you the man! 🤙🤙
Love the board and the grip. That is badass brother!
I came for the skateboard content and wasn’t disappointed. By the way the carbon fibre board looks rad. Would making it a hair thinner make it a little more flexible

I don’t think you want carbon fiber to flex because it can shatter. Maybe if he used a very thin ply of carbon fiber and the rest was fiberglass using the same resin maybe that would work but I’m also slightly retarded

Hey looks like it skates great way to change the game rad video bucky
That could be the coolest drop yet. Sick deck and the grip tap adventure was the best 🤘🏼you da man Bucky
Maaaate that looks so fya...the carbon is so dope..
A half pound drop off of a deck is a BIG reduction in weight. Such a sick setup 🤘🤘
That grip is so sick🤘🤘Not to mention the board, 🤩
One of the sickest looking boards I have ever seen.
Props for giving everyone a try u are truly a wonder that the world is blessed with in a rare generation.
Incredible deck. High performance in the session.
That's pretty sick man. Nice...i remember saving up quarters to buy the chaos video, way back. Crazy how far skating has gone.

that is so awesome Bucky! Schultes told me you were doing some sick stuff!!
This deck is so sick bro down under .
My son would love grip tape your legend. Been watching you your whole life. God bless.
That’s probably the sexiest skateboard I’ve ever seen. Another top vert session vid Bucky!!! 🤘🏽🤙🏽
Back to back one foot disasters were sick. No grab flip over the gap too. I had to stop and rewatch like 3 times. Then 17:55 26 year old Bucky makes an appearance like he's trying to win best trick at the X games. Damn.
So farken dope when your cool friends have cool toys!!! Sickest skate set-up 🔥🔥🔥🔥

That board is so phukkin sick homie. Definitely merch up the grip tape.
That's so awesome! I would love to have a sheet of that grip tape Bucky!
Oh dude - my 11yr old boy Brandon’s getting a carbon fibre deck build for Xmas - this grip on it would make his year!
Yo , that tape is DOPE.
Yo that griptape is sick, me and my son would definitely rock that on our decks!
Wow amazing , takes me back to the 80's when I got a Vision Jinx. Bucky is simply genius in skating and his channel. Top man such a credit to skateboarding. amazing vert skating, so fluid. could watch all day. Even at age 50 still makes me wanna hit the mini ramp 🤣probably would break a leg now lol

Man that is such a sick deck! It seems like the exact same evolution of the hockey stick from wood to composite.
I have one of your flight decks and I can not imagine it half a pound lighter, that's crazy and very cool
Pure FIRE 🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥❤
That grip combo is something else. It would look nice on the classic flight deck too (for us peasants).
So sick for a prototype. I reckon if you dial down the rigidity and weight a little, it would set the benchmark for vert boards. Wondering if a replaceable adhesive protective barrier on the bottom could prolong the lifespan? Something like removable grip tape for the bottom, but carbon-like and low friction.

Napalm Custom has done the prototyping already and are selling carbon composite vert boards. And street boards too.
Commenting for the Grip!!!
i need that GRIP!! - skating a Bucky tortoise flight right now and some kid at the park the other day LOVED it and had to try it out. I'll put that grip on the other one I have on ice for when this one is done!! 🦌🐢
pushin' that envelope in new and exciting ways
Adding the grip tape to the website is a must. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Sick🙌

Also happy to beta test the board 😎
Have him build you a carbon board with integrated base plates so you can even get rid of the mounting hardware weight
Paul's style is so sick! Reminds me of Rune.
That's so rad I could use one of those for skating vert looks nice and stiff. SUBARU LIFE FOR EVER
CANT WAIT TILL YOU PUT THE CARBON TRUCKS ON THAT BAD BOY! OR THUNDER LIGHT LOL
IM OLD SKOOL! I WANT ONE!!!
I want that grip! As soon as Donut opens his shop I'm going to pick up a new Snake Farm deck!
Bucky actually serious about the grip tape?!? 🤘 I’ve been waiting for a review on the base plates, but that deck is absolutely gorgeous!
The rigidity is going to make that board POP off the coping. The pressure Ollie's off of cracks in the sidewalk would make that board extremely fun to ride in da streets. I once had a buddy who pressed Canadian maple decks, layer the top ply with a sheet of carbon fiber fabric that hardens when the maples plays are laminated and the bottom layer with a formica like ply. It had the same rigidity and stiffness to it, and it definitely was great for boardslides, also reminds me of the foam filled Uncle Wiggly decks from back in the 80's. Or thase foam filled Session Skates the The Bear Covers Gary Sherril in AZ, that he used to make. Love it Bucky. Probably could sell those deck/pre-grip taped carbon fibers for $299 and not have any problem moving them. Obviously make them to order with a 30 day lead time, take orders, gsend invoices, collect money, then make them and ship. Zero risk getting stuck with having unsold inventory.
Everything about Bucky's setup is a jaw dropper, like a nice custom car. Racing influences are doing you well, brother!!
Whoa 🤯
These guys just look like they're having the best time skating the ramp at Hawk's place. Would be cool to hang there and skate with these guys.
nice board
Bucky you’re board is Badass
Awesome
They nailed with the flight deck but i agree..the car fib is def high on cool factor..and looked killer with the grip..niiiiice..isnt flex important on a vert deck?...i havent skated vert since the early 90's and i think most boards back then were stiff so cant compare myself..beautiful back tail btw bucky
Would want the grip and the baseplate soon for my next setup 🙌🙌🙌
Dude gnar gnar
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many questions. . . . . . . . Wood has so many qualities, especially Maple that makes it unique for skateboards. I'm wondering how much better carbon fiber is for performance, how the torsional rigidity is different, how to carbon fiber baseplates work on a carbon fiber deck? I've been told carbon fiber on carbon fiber isn't good for durability. I've always known this is the future, but what would the cost increase be and would be that big of an advantage, not just for vert skating, but for street skating there's so many implications, especially when you have a deck that doesn't flex underfoot, landing a 12 stair ollie has some implications. . . . . Anyways, cool to see this finally hitting the mainstream, the carbon fiber techniques are so advanced now, seeing it in a skateboard is something else. EDIT: I play hockey with pretty advanced carbon fiber composite sticks. Be aware, there is a break in period and the carbon fiber will eventually start to break down and you will notice it. I'm wondering how fast that will happen with a skateboard vs. hockey stick.
Wayyy dope! Gotta go for the record of lightest board. That grip tape design is a sick way to lighten up the board too. And I think you could do an even more minimalist design on the grip tape. I see there is plenty of axel you can shave off the end; some skinny titanium nuts to hold the wheels on would help you shave the axel down even more, just be sure to use strong loctite. If you don’t like the extra vibration feel, throw a slim rubber spacer between the trucks and deck or whatever vibration absorbent material they can be made from. Half pound doesn’t seem like that much but when it’s something that is feel-based, it makes a big difference. Hold your board out in front of you straight out by the tail, pointing ahead, and that half pound will probably feel like 2-3 pounds.
Bad ass 😎
Thats funny ive been saying for a long time someone shpuld make a board like that, i use to do some work with f1 teams and aircraft composites. Glad someone did
I wrapped a wooden board with strips of carbon fiber, and then vacuum sealed. It still have the board to this day. Pretty cool makes a cool sound watch out for the microfiber splinters in the beginning, though!
