I felt like I see real season but full of action... I wasn't look your upgrades at all but I was looking the races and most of them near at the end most circuits was mind blowing for the McLaren... You handle it very decent tho .. thumbs up.. your playghtrough reminded me old days of pure f1 bumper to bumper action. Schumacher and Hakkinen days

I doubt you can win anything in the first 2 season but I want to see how much the staff and drivers improve?

@@NeroBax I am interested to see if the young staff make pit stops a nightmare and if the young drivers struggle as the car improves. When choosing, opt for young but inexperienced staff or drivers with high growth potential.

@@NeroBax it probably can't be Hass or or the Alf(ph)a's, so probably Mclaren, Alpine or Williams, because you also can't take the top 4 or else you're kicked out

The main thing with the pit crew is the fatigue calculation that is severly limiting training and also causing trouble with pit stop errors. As a result I've chosen to focus on minimizing errors rather than time as getting a lower stop time takes more fatigue than getting a lower chance of errors.

This kinda proves it, i guess that atleast for season 1 in general, as long as you have decent drivers if you can get enough expertise, one recreation of the car after the one in the begining of the season is enough to be competitive, and after that you can shift the focus to research so you can still try to dominate season 2 But for season like 2025 this strategy is heavily nerfed, because even the backmarker team have like 60%+ expertise in all pieces, and that makes the gains that this strategy brings way lower

Agreed, I would actually like to see a mod where the lowest rated teams starting point is 60% ish expertise and driver skills having a little less impact, would guess you would see closer racing for one and you wouldn't be able to jump the field with ease.

With the monza race, I thought you had to pit at least once in a race?

There are a few instances where you don't have to pit, if you start on inters or wets you can run the whole race on them, the other instance is if there is a red flag and you switch compouds (Soft to Medium for instance) it counts as your pit stop for the race. Don't remember the Monza race for this one but these are generally the two main instances where you would not do a proper pit stop.

hey baxy,and chat,would you say getting this is worth it? I have played hundreds of hours of '22 and absolutely loved it but never got this one as people on yt just kept saying it was just the same exact game and nothing had changed,yet watching your videos i can see that some things have indeed changed,so I'm kind of reconsidering. There seems to be a decent amount of mods too,and kind of unrelated,but I wonder if this will be their last game as well from their comments on how both games weren't really selling that well.

They did state that the F1M series would get supported for the next few years. The game is currently on the game pass if you have that, but as most people say unless you really want it I would advise to wait for a sale, the patches this year has fixed alot of the issues people have been having with the game and I personally enjoy it alot. Definitively a upgrade from 22 at this point, but arguably not worth a full AAA price tag.

I’m using Alphturi and they are horrible. I need to work on upgrading stuff. One race I was leading the red bull cars and they still beat me and they didn’t put not even once.

Why you did only design but not research for next year? Or this video is only how to perform well one year sacrificing next year?

The goal behind this video was to try and see if you could take McLaren to a title in the first season, you can offcourse change some of the development over to research if you are planning to play more than a single season :)
