Unfortunately, it does work sometimes. And then God blesses it. I've heard such testimonies from now married people, where, when they were dating, one person was saved and the other was not. That's the hardest part. Some people try to obey God in this area and yet... we end up single forever.

i'm a 3-1/2 yr believer and have heard so so many ppl do this. i praise God my husband is also saved, pray for our yet saved cole, miles and madison? had i known...💔only do i have hope in Jesus& His Holy Spirit for their salvation. ... AND PRAYER! maranatha 2024 now

My NKJ version says in Judges 13:18, And the angel of the Lord said unto him, "Why ask thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?" It does not say "Wonderful" as you stated, it says "secret."
