jim corboy ill disagree with you here about gaeilge being replaced with rap. Rap isnt inherently American considering it stemmed from R&B, which although was birthed in America, it was something created by a foreign people, the black slaves. Rap has been something that was spread throughout the world and that has been mixed with a variety of cultures. If you dont like Versatile then try Kneecap who actually perform as gaeilge.

That final shot alone is worth recognition from the IFTA. Nevermind the whold storyboard and execution. Versatile should be proud of such a production and this should be recognised as the piece of art that is is.

Unpopular opinion. This is one of their top 5 best songs. One of the only ones I’d constantly listen to on Spotify in my own spare time rather than just havin the craic with mates at a session with their other tunes. People just give it stick because of the weird video. But it’s whopper

For anyone wondering, the song is about the Illuminati. I wish Versatile would do more songs like this, horrorcore or horror trance or whatever it’s called. I don’t mind all the songs about drugs, violence and sex, but they’re in a serious position now where they can write the darkest, most disturbing material imaginable and have nobody to answer for it. They have no record label, they are a third of the way through their tour with Snoop Dogg and Cancel Culture only made them even more independent. This song shows that they could easily take on a similar early Eminem-type of style (they nearly have it). Just take the absolute worst dregs of society and make a song about them.
