I don’t know why this got so much hate when it came out . I wear it to work & it performs like a beast . I get compliments all the time , plus eros original has been reformulated my batch from last year performance is way worse than this one ..

Versace Eros Flame got me into fragrances. I love this stuff.

Love how you revisit fragrances man. Most other reviewers don’t do this but you sometimes make a complete 180 on your view on fragrances. I remember when you first reviewed montblanc explorer vs when you revisited it. Love these videos man 👍🏼

Im so glad you revisited this one honestly, because i prefer it to og Eros too now. I was always considered it like a close encounter version of its older brother. Now you need to revisit Prada L'homme Absolu! I do not understand the hate that one gets like at all.

I would buy Eros just for their bottles. Timeless just like greek mythology. If you have decided to put greek myths as the emblem to your bottle, it's that you've understood how fragrances can give a person a deep olfactory experience.

Thanks for the updated review:) Personally love Versace Eros and the Flame flanker. Flame is a little bit better to me overall:) Think it’s actually even more versatile beyond clubbing if you manage the sprays right!

For me, Eros Flame was love at first sniff and have grown to love it even more. Blood orange opening is great, garners compliments, projects well and longevity for me was 8hrs+. It is, sweet and spicy, dangerous combo!! Flame beats OG for me.

First time i tested flame was not impressed but everytime i visited a perfume store i was drawn to it...I Now Love it!!....great smell and performance..and i personally think its one of the best flankers out there!! 😁

By far the best Eros and in fact the first I owned. Upon buying the original after so many reviewers saying it was better than Flame I was somewhat disappointed. Flame is definitely more mature and artistically creative imo. A compliment beast as well I must add.

This gets just as much if not more compliments than my ultra male and it gets more than sauvage and Profumo glad I picked this up when it came out

I see what you did there warmed up to it... I get it though there are several fragrances I've tried and came back around to then understood what people were talking about and thought better of them than the first couple tries.

My favourite fragrance, its amazing

I tried sampling both of these recently. To me, Eros seems much sweeter and bubble gum-like than Eros Flame, seems spicier, which in my opinion is more versatile and a bit more mature. They are very close so if you like sweet go Eros. If you lean towards less sweet….Flame.

Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree. To me Eros Flame beats the original in every category and I do prefer its scent profile. My current batch of the original Eros is extremely weak thanks to reformulation. I was very disappointed after hearing from many reviewers that it was beast mode. Although both fragrances do dry down to pretty much the same scent to my nose, Eros Flame to me makes the original obsolete.

I loved Eros, minus the Mint, gonna pick this one up today.

This is my most complimented.frag. I have over 20+ fragrances but this one consistently gets me compliments with the ladies. I can clearly recall around receiving 8+ compliments from the three months I've had this. Check this out if you love compliments!

I have both Eros and the Flame, I do like flame better. A little more mature and easier to wear and more versatile

For some reason Eros is one of the only fragrances I’ve ever smelled that gives me a headache but Eros flame does not so it’s an automatic win for me

Thanks for the update on this scent, Ash! I remember trying Eros flame when it first came out. I was browsing for a bottle of Spicebomb at my local Dillards and the dude at the counter was really chill. Offered me a whole bunch of different scents to try but I just couldn't rock Eros flame, it just smelled too tingy on my skin. Even now, it smells too strong and projects with a stinging smell off my skin and I STILL don't know which oil is producing that reaction. Definitely a strong projection frag. Grab it if you like to be the talk of the town, or room =P

This one is DELICIOUS! It's an orange summer club version of Eros EDT. Its like Terre D'hermes but after work in the club!!! A mix of the original Eros, Terre D'hermes & Drakkar Noir!

I tried flame before I purchased the original. I love the original yet there are times I would like the extra fruity, spicy elements of flame.

I bought my eros flame (after testing few days my 10ml sample) sometime around your first video. First time i could not agree at all hehe. For me flame is much better than original, love the opening, drydown is more woody than original. Funny enough, my wife also thinks she feels some kind of insence in this one (like from fireplace), Intereting :) imo original is for youngsters, this one can be used by any age. Glad you revisited :)

I love this one. I wear this a lot while at work. I’m a mail man so I sweat a lot during the day. But, this fragrance here holds up through it all. I get home from work and still smell it from spraying my chest before I went out to work. This one is better than the original eros because of the citrusy blast you get from the opening and the dry down is way less offensive on this one than the original. Not so much of that strong minty smell with it. It dries down and settles very nice.

Love flame and Eros. I switch it up

I honestly can't say I like this one better than the original. Granted there may be some rose tinted glasses involved, 'cause I had some very fun times whilst wearing the original.

I just revisited l’homme ideal cologne after I first smelled it two years ago when I started my fragrance journey. Definitely love it more now than I did then. Wasn’t a fan then. I think revisiting is important in the drag game

I tried a sample of the original eros, and I liked it, I was planning on buying it, but after watching this, I kinda hesitated. What do you recommend, the original or this one (I'm planning to wear the fragrance during day time too).

I had it for awhile now about after collecting over 40 Colognes in my collection since then it not the first thing I reach for but I still like the same since the day I had gotten it

Such an intruiging scent. Also sampled it today almost 9 hours ago, still loud, lol. On my watch list

i agree i have always thought this stuff blows the origianal eros right out of the water, pretty much a no brainer at first sniff gave my eros away to one of un suspecting noobie friends

Just the info I needed...**BOUGHT** "Versace - Eros EDT" smells like sweat on my skin...the mint note in it...gross...I can't take it. So I bought a 10ml decant of "Versace - Eros Parfum" last year, but that one had me gagging in the summer cause it was so overwhelmingly sweet. I'll pick up a full bottle of that one for the winter, but for summer...I'm rocking Eros Flame!

eros flame really did projects very strong. I still remember my friend ask me what i’m wearing because he smelled me when i was about 10 feet from him that time.

It’s a subtle but woman loving smell I wear it w other light fragrances

I just got Flame. I don't think this is strictly a club scent, nor do I think it can't be worn as a signature. It is way more mature imo than the others. I think this is year round except in maybe extreme heat.

This stuff literally 1 spray would last easily 24hours on me it’s crazy!... yes I didn’t shower for a day to test how long it lasts.

Did you find any changes over the time in the perfume.

Love this fragrance. I've had Eros and Eros flame and I prefer Flame BY FAR which is saying a lot because I fell in love at first scent with Eros. Very clean for being sweet. Also lasts ALL DAY

I got a sample today. On first wear, I love it, but the rose is too much for me. I love everything else! The rose gives me that old lady vibe.. maybe it’s the combination of geranium and rose.

I have the original eros i think that will be cool also

dude this gotta be one of the best releases of versace ps. if ure planning to buy a new eros, people have said that new batch eros has weaken a lot

I can second that, my eros lasts like 2 hours then it's gone, hardly a skin scent, I bought it from a reputable retailer aswell. Disappointing because it used to be my signature

I really like it and I have no problems wearing this even at work. I would not wear it in the summer and even tho I do wear it at work sometimes it's more of a going out scent. Overall it's a great scent and I need to get a big bottle soon.

Ash would u recommend Viali intense?

Recently I noticed a couple of my fragrances have gotten better smelling after leaving them for a few months to a year. Especially the ones with aldehydes. I wonder if has something to do with the additional oxidation that takes place after new air is pumped into the bottle? Or I dunno, maybe my brain is getting used to them. Either way, blind buy-okays have now become blind buy-wins.

I have had the same experience, if you leave your scents for a year or more in a dark place with a moderate temperature you will feel that the performance getting better but maybe the opening is a bit alcoholic for the first few seconds

I deadass like the flame way better than the original eros because the original gives me a big headache

I really don't like Eros, it smells kinda musty/dusty can't really explain it. However, I love Eros Flame! I enjoy the creamy kinda smell this has.

I love Eros flame since first time that I try on Sephora! Most of reviewers bash on flame and I was curious about the fragance! I love it!! Same think with Dior homme 2020! Is not a bad scent ! Just they make a mistake on the name!!
