Same I always loved his Cody block coverage when he blocked 2 field goals against Tennessee

One of the all time greats. Verne has been on the call on AT LEAST 10 of the greatest calls in ALL OF SPORTS.

These Lifetime Achievement Awards are truly fitting for the individuals to whom they are presented. When they give these it would be great if they could give a scholarship to the college of the recipient's choice to further the arts

Ummm...yes he is!! Jim Nantz is a just as much a talent as Verne!! Just two different men, two different styles!!

When he was doing Cowboy games, would turn down the television sound on the same game to listen to his play by play on KRLD 1080
