VERY IMPORTANT PSA:
You can pretty stupidly break animations on some weapons by starting an attack and quickly block canceling it. Sword and dagger can cancel both of the charged attacks to no small amusement. Moving or inspecting your character breaks this(others will still be able to see it), so the 3rd person mod comes in handy. BUT with the executioner's sword you can cancel the charged attack, switch to a ranged weapon, press the inspect button, and be rewarded with a crotch gun version in 3rd person that will persist through movement and reloading. With falchion you can get a persistent charged attack animation by just doing the 3-attack normal combo.

Twilight Chosen Pony of Tzeentch Yeah lol he is the funniest
The chemistry between the characters is amazing, many books have character interactions with a lot less nuance and depth then these few lines. Also i think Kruber started drinking because he secretly has the hots for Kerillian :D

eh... he had been...interested... in booze for quite a while iirc... ever since that Necromancer hit his men with hte Purple Sun of Xereus atleast iirc. And being up to the throat in skaven doesn't help him in this regard i guess

He's been drinking more recently because his family died of plague during the Skaven attack on Ubersreik, and he found their corpses (implicitly, before or after Wheat & Chaff). He does actually seem to have an interest in Kerillian. One squawk has Kerillian scold him for staring at her, though his interest may be more in the fact that she's the first elf he's ever actually known.

@@undertakernumberone1 not to mention being in close proximity to a women and an elf maiden at that doesn't help especially during a siege, very truthfully he is showing a tremendous amount of restraint

The Asrai are directly descended from the Asur and don’t really go to the Old World besides Teclis so I wonder why she speaks of them in such a manner and not to mention when Chaos was invading Kislev I didn’t see any Asrai ride into battle for the Old world, they’re complete shut ins that don’t care about anything that’s outside of Athel Loren.

Vermintide 2 is better in pretty much every way in terms of gameplay mechanics and variety but Vermintide 1 had way better dialogue and banter between the U5 imo. If I hear about Sigmar-damned Hoggar’s Bridge one more time I think I’ll lose it 🤣

As someone who's done a bit of amateur voice acting, I can assure that it A) it is, and B) I'm not the least surprised. If you're doing a role that isn't in your native accent and you come back on a different day (or more than a year later in this case) your accent is bound to change in a thousand subtle different ways. You can notice it especially with Loehner as well; he went from sort of generic English accent to suuuuuuper West Country farmer accent between the base game and Stromdorf.

Why is all the dialogue by Markus Kruber?
Why do the subtitles say it's Kruber talking when it's clearly the others who are speaking?
vermintide 1 dialogue is so much better than vermintide 2 dialogue
Goddamn those subtitles suck.
