I just spent an hour of my life doing online chat with Frontier only to be told they would have to send a technician to my home in 2 days. Then I found your video and did the reset with the alarm silence button. It worked!! Thank you!! That technician would have probably charged me $150 to do the same thing.

What’s the Verizon fios modem phone number to call? My Verizon fios modem is still orange light and I shut it off turn it back on and it doesn’t work.

this has been such a common problem for me. I end up calling them and having them do it on their end. the next time this tries this (which feels like every 10 days) i'll do this myself. I have a different version of the ONT than you do but i'll be sure to try this bc every time verizon does it it works like a fucking charm.

Lol had the same problem, googled fios orange on my iphone and watched this video. Back in business after 20 seconds. Verizon should pay you for all the un needed phone calls since you posted lol.

Actually all you have to do is press and hold the "alarm silence" button not oth the buttons

Hey, I just saw your video and followed everything you did, but when I did it, there was no change. The internet light is still Amber and I tried it several times and no progress. I even unplugged it from the wall and unplugged the back up battery and still nothing. I also did the 2 button thing after I plugged them back in. And after all that, still no dice.

First of all, pressing and holding the buttons did absolutely nothing. I unplugged the ONT and when I plugged it back in, all of my lights were dead! I'm gonna get scolded by Verizon now :(

try outside.thats where mine was.a little gray box on the side of the wall with verizons logo on it
