Ruled by the twin influences of the God of Wind 'Pavan deva' and 'Rahu', the shadow planet of desire and material accomplishment, this lunar mansion is movement oriented and ambitious, social, enterprising in nature.

ABOUT VENUS IN VEDIC ASTROLOGY:
Now, Venus or 'Shukra' in 'Vedic' astrology, is a feminine energy of finesse, beauty, love and 'happiness'.
Yes Moon represents happiness too but Moon represents more the 'inner happiness' that comes from a healthy emotional balance and mental composure.
Venus represents happiness at more of an 'external' level such as having conveniences, assets, wealth and comforts that one can enjoy or 'indulge' in to navigate the material realm better.
In 'Vedic' philosophy, 'Brihaspati' and 'Shukra' are the two 'gurus' who stand for progress and growth at the spiritual and material level respectively.

Venus in 'Swati' is one placement that can ideally should be the best placement of Venus especially in terms of its twin energies of material accomplishment, development, desires and social growth (that Venus brings to the table) and the movement oriented, expansive and ambitious energy (that is brought forth by Swati).
While usually lucky in terms of finances and material accomplishments, this can be an energy that often frustrates the individual when it comes to dealing with relationships.
The opposite is in fact also be possible: That the native prioritizes intimate relationships such as that of a spouse and close family members, over material and financial success.
