I love seeing the people parading in their costumes and masks. Wonderful opening parade of colourful boats, nothing over the top, just a lovely simplicity about it all. Venice is so beautiful.

Vidéo magnifique. Le certificat baptismal pour être un vrai Vénitien, c'est d'abord d'être un vrai rameur. Cette remontée des barques vers le Rialto est la vérité intemporelle venue du fond des âges de cette chère et si aimée Venise. Que de souvenirs! La petite brume sur la Piazza vue d'une croisée du Correr, c'est aussi un délice rare de contemplation du temps carnavalesque, on se remémore inévitablement les Bellini, Canaletto, etc. Que de souvenirs! Je retiens aussi l'accordage du Steinway dans le portego du Mocenigo pour le moment musical du soir. Juste à côté des archives poussiéreuses de plus de six siècles de cette illustre famille de doges. Et bien évidemment, cette incroyable Fenice, double coloré du Philharmonique de Vienne, vue détruite sous les bâches, mais vue entièrement reconstruite dans sa splendeur qui caractérise le trait principal de la Vénus des Eaux. Vidéo magnifique.

Es gibt keinen Mangel an Menschen. Es ist schwer für uns zu vergleichen, weil es unser erster Karneval in Venedig war.

Ich frage mich, ob es stimmt, dass die Maskenträger fast nur noch amerikanische Touristen sind, aber sogut wie keine Venezianer. Es gab mal eine Dokumentation darüber. Das wäre sehr ernüchternd.

Anwohner, auch aus dem nahegelegenen Mestre, sind die Hauptorganisatoren und haben die schönsten Kostüme. Allerdings kann jeder eine Maske kaufen, denn die Preise beginnen bei 3 Euro und für 10 Euro bekommt man eine in guter Qualität. In einem anderen Video sieht man genau ca. 11-12 Minuten, ich empfehle es. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eoenxdxyocmcgag.html 😀

@@1000Travels_ Ein wunderschönes Video! Ich liebe Venedig und war schon viermal dort, zweimal mit Übernachtung. Einmal in der Calle del Vin und einmal in Dorsoduro. Am schönsten ist es am ganz frühen Morgen, wenn die Touristen noch in ihren Betten liegen und nur die echten Venezianer unterwegs sind (und ich natürlich als einzige Touristin😄)

It was originally planned for 8 p.m., but the parade was postponed to the following day at 11 a.m. Maybe it was a good thing, because the previous day there was thick fog.

Brazilian carnival has a different history. And it would be way too noisy for me. I love the quiet historical atmosphere of the carnival in Venice.

Ziemlich langweiliges Video. Schade um das schöne Event. Einfach nur die Kamera hinhalten ist keine Kunst. Darauf ein interessantes Video zu schneiden aber schon.
