Thank you, I'm happy you liked it ❤️ It usually runs for the whole month of February +- a few days in January/March. There are more people during the weekends, but it's also when the majority of events take place!
This is my favorite Italian city! It is so beautiful and unique. I love it! I've visited there for the first time in 1985 and then went back 3 more times on different vacations. The last time I was in Italy in 2017, I went there with my sister and niece to a U2 concert in Rome. But we never made it to Venice. My name is Denice and I'm from Canada.
What are the cost of the masque?
Everyone seems to forget that the light in Venice changes with each season. the carnival is an echo of the past that must be preserved. Even God visits the carnival disguised in his mask of splendor.🤣
Frittelle, castagnole, etc.. Very good but pretty caloric, but in full Winter like now they can be a nice cheat meal.

15:09......NOT true :))) Under the rule of the Holy Roman Emperor and later Emperor of Austria, Francis II, the festival was outlawed entirely in 1797 and the use of masks became strictly forbidden.
