Venezuela: The Treasures of El Dorado - Wildest Latin America - Go Wild
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
Venezuela is famous for its “Lost Worlds” - foreboding mountains, huge swamps, and impenetrable jungles - all seemingly cut off in space and time. Yet each is linked, by the waters of a mighty river: The Orinoco, the rumoured route to El Dorado - the legendary city of gold.
Following the explorers’ journey up the Orinoco from mouth to source, we discover a delta haunted by pumas and festooned with Scarlet Ibis; a river that’s home to South America’s largest predator, the Orinoco Crocodile; Los Llanos - the swampy realm of the world’s largest rodent and its numerous predators; Mount Roraima - the spectacular flat-top mountain that inspired Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Lost World and Pixar’s movie Up; and the tropical jungle home of hallucinating shamans and tarantula-hunters.
The Orinoco was the first river in South America to be discovered, and the last to disclose its source. Its future is uncertain, but for now it still bonds some of Latin America’s most spectacular natural wonders - the real treasures of El Dorado.

My beautiful homeland Venezuela.
👋filmed here with Toby our Puma.
Wow awesome documentary sir

Thank you for magnificent presentation . Is great to watched the second time.
Awesome!
Great 👍
13:04-13:42, 24:22-24:56 & 25:06-25:34 Oh my gosh, There are Orinoco Crocodiles on this Documentary. They’re one of my favorite known species of True Crocodiles in the world. Not to mention one of the few True Crocodiles in the Americas. Hmm…. Speaking of the Americas, I doubt that this documentary is released on DVD in America as Region 1 or Region Free. I say whatever known Documentary appearances the Orinoco Crocodiles have made over some of the years, “25:25 Such as this for example.” needs to be released on DVD in America to bring the attention to try & help preserve the known Endangered Species. Their cousins the American Crocodiles are making a recovering comeback, The Orinoco Crocodiles need more protection & a recovery comeback.
😇💜 Thank YOU for sharing this adventure with us.🤗💜💜💜
cool
❤❤❤
Im from Venezuela 😅
In North America, Central America and South America where these cats are native, the name of that cat is pronounced 'poo'-ma. Puma.
Greetings everyone, just asking a question here please, i would like to know if the Orinoco river passes through Guyana, just a question please!
@Go Wild, Incorrect aspect ratio.
That's how everything in Venezuela's lost worlds looked, before the last few years of massive mining by irregular Colombian armed groups, Venezuelan organized crime, corrupt military and even Hezbollah combatants. Now, those worlds are really lost, deforestation is causing erosion, biodiversity is in danger.

Why so much of "epic" music? Come on guys it's not 90's anymore. In fact 1/3 of a century passed since then. People are looking for more real nature videos now. More natural sounds. It's not a "die hard" movie. I am a 1985 born person and I understand that. Come on guys. It's time to move on... The picture is awesome, though
Why do brits say “pew-ma”. It’s pronounced “poo-ma” by the American cultures in the countries it’s native too.

From a Brit, I apologise profusely for our pronunciations that are different, we should get it right seeing as it comes from your country. We do say pew-ma, I'm only guessing but maybe the upper class with a stiff upper lip aren't allowed to mention poo 🤣 my first school bag was Pew-ma, I was very happy as it was a birthday present 😂 I guess we have different pronunciations and different words for a lot of things, the thing that unites us though, we are all watching the same video enjoying watching nature 😊 you say potato and I'll say potato 🤣

😇💜 Are you wearing earbuds ??? If not maybe you might consider getting some. I do know that some of these shows can be a little low with the volume.🤗
I'm disqieted by this political and financial problem there at the moment.
Thumbs down! 👎Christopher Columbus did NOT discover any land in Latin America or Caribbean. He was an explorer. And in actual fact, him and his explorer friends invaded the natives people living in each single place they'd landed. Anyway, beautiful Venezuela!! ❣😍

Why would you bother posting such bullshit? No amount of self-delusion will change actual history. Columbus charted several small islands in the Caribbean.
...i dont like way this narrator was talking, esp. seems to be with Columbus.
