The way Baran Karabey loves his precious Dilan is the most beautiful thing in the series. I don’t agree with those who say season one was more beautiful than season 2. It's a different vibe, Baris goes stratospheric, untouchable with his performance and Yagmur improves her acting. I love both seasons, it's different from other series.

Well S1 was beautiful in its own way S2 had some flaws but the actors they're phenomenal. The chemistry is still there it's just the director who sets the mood.

I wholeheartedly agree, both seasons are very good. It's the first series that got me hooked for so many episodes, I usually get bored with the leads from other series, because they tend to drop their level of acting as time goes by...but Baris and Yagmur are special together.

The script for s1 is more beautiful , emotions of DilBar were convincing. In s2 male director made them look like, especially Baran, insensitive and distant. Viewers blamed Baris' personal life, I think he wasn't getting along well with the director.

@@hipotenuza5663 I agree that most of Yagmur's "fans" bullied terribly Baris and his wife. But they really didn’t understand the script. There were many events that shocked and shattered Baran so Baris had to play a more worried, under pressure, stressed man, always trying to keep his family safe. Plus he had to handle a very unnecessarily stubborn, reckless Dilan.

Kudret grabbing Hassan by the throat was priceless! Can you imagine the death grip he had from all the years of anger towards his brother’s treachery!! It was too enjoyable to watch. I’m still laughing 😂. Kudret is the man!!!

I love the way Kudret reinforces baran’s position. Love how he say this is your seat son, not mine nor anyone else (looking at the greedy slimy fox hassan), continue to sit there. His purpose as a loving father was not to come and demote his son, not to come overshadow him and take over with his ego by saying thank you for keeping the seat warm all these years but I’m here now son I’ll take over, you did a great job but let a true pro show you how it’s done. No he did not say or do any of that instead, he humbly sit next to his son, all he wanted to do was be there for his sons, to talk to them, share in their worries, sadness, happiness and love and if he have to just stand there and clap for them that’s enough for him because he have seen how much they have grown all these years and take on the mantle of the karabey family and they make him proud. What he and his wife instilled in them when they were little he saw it unfold before his very eyes all the time while in that chair. His sons are brave, courageous, merciful, forgiving, loving, kind, compassionate, leaders, doers, intelligent, fill with wisdom and surround themselves with wisdom filled people (dilan, kerem, Kader, Gul, Sena and her mom, Ahmet bey), they are humble (when they need to lol), they maybe be rich and come from a powerful tribe but at the same time they aren’t afraid to sit with the poor, shake hands with them and befriend them as a matter of fact they feel more at home in their presence. Kudret knows he and his wife give birth to wonderful sons so why wouldn’t he be proud to step a side and let them lead on. Baran have carried the tribe thus far and he managed to squash a feud that probably have been there for decades maybe even before he was born (because who knows who else hassan previously got them into heat with and create more enemies for the family). I so love the respect he give to his son and in a way it’s his way of showing approval for what Baran has already done and what he will continue to do. He’s saying you continue sitting there, I’m here now just to stand beside you, give you extra support and when and if you need me I’m not far but you’ve had this, you have got it and you will always. I’m just rewatching those episodes but this is what came to my mind when I see this scene of baran being a respect son and knowing that was never my place, it should have never been or it shouldn’t have been that early but due to circumstances I was thrown in this position and I always prayed you got better to take your rightful place, so here although I am the still the head of this tribe (even if by default Idk) but you are my elder and this is your seat. But his father is like no son you earn this seat. It’s not mine nor anyone else’s, Keep on sitting there. I’ll be cheering you on the side as I was doing all these years. Wooooooooohhhhhh!
