This is just my personal opinion. Dilan’s acting skills, while she has a lot of potential, needs more development. She is blessed to costar with Baran because his chemistry helps carry her through some scenes. Having said this, I like Dilan, and I look forward to seeing her in more projects. What a wonderful way to see someone develop before your own eyes. God bless you. ❤

@@cynthiawright8111Just my opinion…nothing personal…but Dilan ain’t at fault for everything…girl literally witnessed her entire family getting rained on by bullets..& as we saw,she was locked into a tiny dark room & chained for 3 freaking months…you do know that effects human brain..don’t you..!? People gets countless types of mental issues after being kidnapped including Stockholm syndrome…compared to that,she’s handling things quite strongly…her broken mental state & fear makes it more realistic..& even though it’s frustrating, I appreciate that the makers tried to portray the after effects instead of making her look like a bad@ss …cz this looks more human & realistic..not to mention what she has been through before the imprisonment…even though Baran loved her, we can’t deny the mistreatment & abuse she experienced & endured in the Karabey mansion…moreover,she didn’t even have a very healthy childhood,(like…how she always shared some of her pain about her family with Baran…once we even saw how severely she has claustrophobia which was caused by her “mother”) …& remember how she kept saying to Baran during their wedding phrase that she’s afraid to be this happy cz she thinks something bad might happen….these just show how much trauma she has & how mentally broken she is…so, I think that totally justifies her behaviour…in fact,she’s very strong as a character….!!

Dilan can do everything she can enter Sabiha' s house and give threats , lie numerous times and pray to the almighty, put Baran through all that pressure and pain but cannot speak the truth and fight the battle together .Even after that gun shot Dilan doesn't seem to realise her mistake

Evryone keeps forgetting she spent three months in fear, as someone who has been in dangerous circumstances and some PSTD, i love and need hugs but I'm the first to pull away, is almost uncontrollable and i no longer cry. Dilan actions are erratic and mistaken but are consequences of everything. I loved that the shows speak on this and how the actress Yagmur displays it.

Dilan has been under coercive control: first with Baran and then with Sabhia. That's why she keeps following instructions and not telling Baran what's been going on. It's a pattern in her life that is the backbone of the story. She has also had PTSD and Stockholm Syndrome from being kidnapped, held against her will and isolated in the mansion in a very threatening environment but these elements have been turned into a love story. Reminds me of the circumstances of women who have been kidnapped and put in a harem.

Girl survived traumatic experience after traumatic experience, in real life you don't feel "safe" after you reach safe haven, some never do or quite reach that place and I don't see any therapist in the novel so actually her reaction is very logical. She was just a young woman facing mess after mess

I think that Gul, the employee is smarter than Dilan, a graduated student. She was portrayed as too scared, too weak, almost spineless, not a good example in my eyes. If only she could’ve been so aggressive to Sabiha earlier, instead of illogically hurt Baran. The only good thing is that Yagmur is pretty and has chemistry with Baris...but I can’t warm up to her character nor her acting. In the bathroom scene she had no expression on her face, no passion in her eyes...nada.

@@sophiedash.1515 am only talking in general, obviously this is a movie, but the general perception is the same, that people with diplomas are bright. Lots of them are not. This seems to happen a lot in Eastern Europe and the Eastern Hemisphere, people just wanting titles, respect and recognition.... Whilst if you look West people are more relaxed about it for instance, you go to a lawyer or doctor and call him by his name.

We have to appreciate the casting person to give Baris Baktas, a perfect role.

They are trying to equate all that abduction, grabbing by elbow, dragging, attempt on life ,animosity of his family,indignity suffered with this story like she abducted him by making him falling in love and her mom is trying to kill him like how azade tried to bury her in ditch. It's never the same. her life is precious to only one person ! Compared to that Baran is slightly luckier.
