Thank you so much! I give my two piggies 2-3 leafs of lettuce in the morning and afternoon depending on how big the leaves are, recently I’ve been mix in other veggies as well. Question: Are Kiwi and Apple okay for Guinea pigs? I’ve gotten mixed signals for Kiwi and apples are okay without the seeds but shouldn’t be given often due to high sugar but I was just double checking.

When i had my guinea pigs carrot cucuber and i dont renember wut else

Hello! I have two 6 year old female Guinea pigs with bladder stone. The vet told me to give them bell peppers and cucumbers. They both will not eat bell peppers and one will only eat cucumbers. I give them both organic romaine lettuce they both eat that. They do have bladder sludge so I am always worried about giving them things with too much calcium. I give them each an oxbow vitamin c tablet a day and they eat the oxbow adult Guinea pig food 1/8 cup each a day even less sometimes depending on how much they eat. And they get Timothy Hay. Any advice you have would help thank you so much!

Do you feed your guniea pigs pellets in the morning too or just veggies? My last guniea pig had to be fed pellets every morning. Also sorry for this second question but, if they dont dont eat alm the vegetables do you just take them out? And one more ( so sorry) what if they eat the other guniea pigs veggies would that be them eating too much?

Quick question ive been trying to see if its ok to feed my babies decorative/flowering cabbage/kale. I want to grow these outside and would love to just buy them already grown but im not so sure thats ok for them to eat. Help? Thank you!

Mireya Dominguez hi there! Although they're categorized as the same species of the ones in our grocery stores, the ornamental versions have been bred for looks, not flavor. In my opinion, you can try to feed your fur babies in moderation. 💖

Hey.. my Guinea pigs do not eat veggies... They only eat cucumber or cabbage..I have tried giving them red/yellow/green bell peppers, they denied... Tried zucchini, no... Tried pumpkin,it was a no...tried baby corns, carrots...it's all a no for them...They only eat hay, cucumber and cabbage... Please suggest how I should I make them eat.. Thanks

Mamta Rani He is probably just a fussy eater and you can’t force feed him. Hay needs to be the largest part of the diet, so hopefully he is eating plenty of hay and you give extra vitamin C (in pellets or liquid form). I personally wouldn’t worry too much as long as he is eating plenty of hay and is not loosing weight. What about fresh grass, herbs and dandelion leaves, most piggies can’t resist them? Hope this will help! 💖

How do I know how much to feed them ? My guinea pigs are like 4-6 months old I believe. I just got them and I’m stressing 😢

lena jazuk organics are the best! 👍🏼 Make sure you wash your vegetables well before you give to your guinea pigs especially the non-organic ones. I recommend kale and parsley in moderation. 💖

kaif shaikh yes it is okay! 🤗 all guinea pigs have their preference, my older ones love the leaves and the stems but my little one only eat the leaves too! 😆💖 it’s okay with the coriander, it’s a safe green.

No, Hay is 80% of their diet it helps keep their digestive system healthy and their teeth healthy the fibre in hay is essential to keep a guinea pigs digestive system working. Without hay they may get serious health issues which may lead to death. Some cheaper options may be orchard hay, and meadow hay but Timothy is the best. If you can't get hay I suggest not adopting a Guinea pig if you have any questions feel free to ask!❤️✨🌸🦋☺️

Hi, can you because unwanted? By his old family that I to Kingdom and I didn't know what I feeling that I just got the thing from the shops. Oxbow Western Timothy Hay is a great option for their daily hay. If the guinea pigs are babies you’ll need alfalfa hay. Orchard grass hay is also grey to mix in with their timothy hay every now and again. Oxbow has all these hays available at petsmart or on amazon :)

@@sbryann18 I would recommend giving lots of wooden toys that they can chew on! Most guinea pigs love the balls made out of wicker and hay (you can get those at petsmart or on amazon). You can also stuff empty cardboard toilet paper rolls with hay as a fun toy as well :)

Please do not feed iceberg lettuce. It has no nutritional value and excessive water, which can lead to diarrhea.

You should be giving them that much EACH. Not to share. That's ridiculous
