That NRC demo was mind blowing. Wowsers!!!

Never towed a vehicle in my life...with anything other than a strap or a chain behind my pickup. LUL But I love and can respect a nice rig and a skilled operator. Similar to a crane or a motor grader operator , its literally an art. Takes years to master. If you cant appreciate it, you clearly dont get how it all operates from your brain all the way to the hook. Preciate the show brother. Didnt take me 5 minutes into the video to see how quick a man could go from millionaire to broke in just a few signs of the ol John Hacock. 😂😂 Yall stay safe out on the road. Tell em yall dont charge an arm and a leg like most other companies....tall just want their tows. ✌🏼

That one tow truck is pretty cool at 45:37 is a cool idea that way you don’t have to disconnect driveshafts and tow trailer behind it.

Bradley Drennan That will not work with most tractors ( high roof). And only with empty trailer

Looks like a fun time and impressive demo displays

NRC has some of the best tow show demos. I had to take the front wheels off a school bus doing a tandem tow of 2 full size school buses from Philadelphia back to NYC using the NRC 40,000TB second generation. The new ones are leaps and bounds over those.

the guy in the second show, he sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Great video bro by the way in the second show you should own the truck to. And you should get a another new Wrecker. Don't forget that giant flatbed for the semis . You should do this again , and again . 😁😉👍👍👍

Over here at Coady’s Towing in MA we just got a Peterbilt Tri Axle 9055xl and we love it

hahah i want the flatbed that loaded the tractor at the 48 minute mark

Every time I see or hear Landoll I think of Landau tops on cars from the seventies.

i see some problems with the semi lift, first, none of the loose axles were chained to prevent damage to air ride,...etc, second, when they hooked up the trailer to the rollback, they did not do a "tug test" to test the fifth wheel coupling BEFORE hooking up the trailer air supply. the axles were also not chained on the trash truck either. also did not like the way the front of the trash truck was hooked up, if there is damage to the frame, which there might be in a rollover, the front wrecker needs to have control too. all these things could prevent possible damage or loss of the trailer in transit. otherwise very good video. best safety factor is 4:1 or better. enjoyed the video.

Interesting, Vegas perfect place for a convention if you don't gamble too much, pull toy here.

Guardian Angel lights are useful for other stuff too and I want it for biking and search and rescue on foot Just have to put aside some money for it

can u do a walk around of Darls truck and the tator saw u did a walk around of Robertos truck which was originally urs

Been a lot of hate to Miller Ind recently, can't understand why. Company near me is all Miller Ind with no problems at all.

I did not know that California or Nevada uses aerial radar drones.

One last question, will there ever be a need or do you think a 100t rotator would be nessasary?

Looks like an interesting hobby Does not cost much to get into this sport A magnet, a rope and a bridge and you got a days entertainment Looks like fun. Got to try this Great hobby for a few bucks Great fun from the water and you don't need boxes of tackle

It's a 22,000lb auxiliary winch. They are only offered on the Vulcan V-100 & V-70 models. They actually have been available as an option for like 5 years now.

Didn't see any Silverado 45,5500🤔...guess it's not a practical truck frame anymore for towing?

But can it lift up a fully loaded semi truck and trailer (which would probably be somewhere around 90k pounds with the truck itself probably weighing close to 20 k the trailer itself and not the box and contents inside the box probably weighing 10k and the container and it's contents inside roughly 70k pounds , I know it's lifting a semi truck and trailer but who's to say it's not empty (it could be full but I can't really understand the guy talking with all the other noise going on )

One thing I don't like about nrc is they have there boom to high even in transport mode

I'd say the guy who narrated the semi demonstration is a native Dutch speaker or someone from that background.

Strange how the American tow trucks are starting to follow the European design, 2 axles up front 2 at the rear.

I like miller but nothing can challenge a nrc

not sure if they were on but the lack of scene lighting on these tow truck suck

I love to see companies using roll up doors on there wrecker bodies.

Probably 3 links touching whatever it's wrapped around. Use a shackle to make the chain go around a "fatter" object and use more links to spread the load, rather than through only a hook which may only be one or two.

The wider you can spread the load where the chain bends or redirects through the clevis the better. If you have 3 links in the clevis you're not creating a pinch point on the links and the links aren't binding against each other. When you use just the hook you won't have as wide an area for the chain to rest causing the potential problems I sited earlier.
