Looking at content influencers are putting out on the subject many younger guys have now completely lost sight of what masculinity is. Today it seems its all about blustering, telling the world how tough and dangerous you are and calling anyone that disagrees with you a feminist. I have written a book about masculinity so I suppose I'm a guy that talks about it. But I am also 100% comfortable with it.

What up bro! I've had nothing but love from you from the get! so big ups! I ate plant based for about 6 years and loved it, I've dabbled with the idea of doing it again. While I don't agree with whoever that dude is and his comment about veganism reducing your masculinity by 5%... which sounds freaking ridiculous. What I can say is that there aren't many vegan or wfpb influencers that appeal to a mans man. Plant based tends to get clumped in with being vegan and being vegan gets clumped in with certain political beliefs on social media and there is a large population that just doesn't find that whole vibe appealing or they are too insecure to adopt a plant based lifestyle because they are insecure and feel they'll get clumped in with the bunch. The truth is that there are plant based people from all walks of life, religions, political beliefs and ages... but the highest ranking content wouldn't let you think so. I'm also not taking about the silly soy/boobs, muscles/man argument either because being a man is not about pounding your chest and soy is in everything lol. But it's easy to think as a man's man that you wouldn't fit in with the vegan community because it's true. Now that I am getting my health back on track and have been eating plant based for the last couple of weeks, I hesitate to tell people about it because I don't care to explain the difference of what a vegan vs wfpd diet is, the fact soy won't make my moobs any plumper or that I can be a God first, father, husband, hard working entrepreneur that loves his country and still eat the same stuff all the progressive influences think is superior to everyone else's choices. I WILL be talking about it more in the future though but just giving you the scoop on what the average dude sees when he thinks "vegans". The cause has been hijacked by a small minorities identity. Not sure if that makes any sense or if you'll even try to understand my point but be well! Keep up the good work and God bless.

I appeciate your comment and i agree with the sentiment. I am not a man and do consider myself to be vegan but i dont appreciate being lumped in with certain political and social groups because of that and i truly think it would benefit vegans and plant based eaters to separate the lifestyle from politics because that deters so many people from various backgrounds who could benefit from eating healthier even if they didnt go fully plant based or agree with the ethical arguments of vegans.

Everything is choice in life if you want to be feminine you will be more feminine if you choose to become more masculine you will do so the only problem is that people live on autopilots and most of the time are not even aware of consenquences of their choices. For every decision you make there is price to pay because when you say yes to something you said no to something else.Be aware of your actions/choices and of their compounding effect. Be sure you stop and breath and iluminate the path ahead so you can see where will you end up making your daily choices ...and living with habits you ingrained by those choices.

There is an angle where the "more feminine" makes sense. In a world society where it has been recognised that the masculine energy has dominated everything to as far as our very square and rigid architecture, the feminine energy is coming back in with perhaps the Age of Aquarius, moving more into the Heart Centre, the nurturing energy. This could be a topic for the Spirit Science channel, but if we do recognise that we are all a divine blend of the masculine and feminine energies, could it be that those who are awakening to a more loving and nurturing state of being could be viewed as being more balanced with their feminine energy while others are out of balance with too much masculine energy? I view veganism and caring about the environment and our brothers and sisters of all nations as our shifting to a higher consciousness as a new age is dawning.

I believe you're referring to pesticides and fertilizers that can contain EDCs (endocrine disrupting chemicals) These chemicals can potentially prevent testosterone (among other hormones) from binding effectively. The only problem is that many EDCs compound in the flesh of animals because they eat the tainted crops. The agricultural runoff made the frogs display irregular sex characteristics (essentially intersex individuals) Edit: All this to say, eating animal products will also put EDCs into your body (along with breathing air, drinking water, and using many nonstick/stainless industrially produced kitchen wares).
