Vegan Shopping in Copenhagen - Food, Toiletries and Asian Markets

Copenhagen has a lot of cosy and hygge vegan-friendly cafes, restaurants and bakeries, but in this video, I will show you what is available at our supermarkets when you are shopping for vegan products.
We have all the staple foods that you would need, and in recent years the variety of speciality foods in the stores has grown a lot. All the big vegan brands are here: Oatly, Beyond Burgers, Alpro and Violife, but I'll also show you a few of the hidden gems and some of my favourite items that I eat all the time.
I also talk about the different supermarkets, so we'll take a look at how plant-based foods are at Føtex, Irma, Lidl, Netto and a few more stores.

🥦 🥦 🥦2023 UPDATE 🥦🥦🥦 Irma is slowly closing all their stores, which is a huge bummer for us vegans. As of August 2023, some of them are still open in the Frederiksberg, Vesterbro and Osterbro areas. Lidl has removed their vegan sections in their stores, but they still have plenty of vegan products, you just have to look for them in a different places.

Moving to Copenhagen in a few months time...any chance you'd make an updated video slightly concerned as where I'll do shopping! 😂

@@HannahSaulVlogs Most of the things I've shown in this video are still available so don't stress! Staples are still in literally all the supermarkets, and if you are looking for something more special then Fotex, Super Brugsen and Meny might be the best bet!

Hi Is Aaman sandwiches vegan? Three of them seems to be vegan but is written vegetarian Have you tried Aamman sandwiches?

I never tried them, but I just had a look on their website. 1 of the 3 has sour cream on it, so that's out, but the other two doesn't list any ingredients that isn't vegan, but maybe they use regular butter on all sandwiches? I heard of Din Nye Ven having a few options, but never tried them.
