You guys are a match made in heaven! What could be better than plant based chefs collaborating. 💖👏💖👏💖
My mom starts screaming when you pour the orange juice haha. I know there're a lot of Vietnamese complaining about how unoriginal the recipe it but as a Vietnamese myself, I kinda like how innovative and creative this recipe is. It's super fun to watch because of your bold ingredients. I'll definitely try this and I think it's a great recipe too. Just don't cook it in front of a Vietnamese or tell them it's pho (like i never cook pasta in front of my Italian friends. I did it once and I thought he was gonna butchered me).

LOL. Yeah, orange juice and maple syrup don't go in phở. =) Call it bún chay but not phở. Helen's Recipe's phở chay is the real thing. Innovation is welcome but name it right. My kids wouldn't eat bánh bèo with the standard toppings but loved it with pizza sauce.
You guys are amazing!!!! happy energy!!! thank youuuuu!!! with all of my heart!
Wow this looks so good I'm actually salivating. Definitely going to make this thanks so much guys
Can't wait to try this! Love when you have guests. Bosh boys are great.
I love that you did this collab! Both teams are always happy and vibrant and the collar is just fantastic! And the food looks absolutely delicious!
Omg! This looks so delicious! Watched this video and I'm sold! Bought the book on Pre-order right now.
Just made this. Was amazing. Thank you so much for getting our 2 young boys to eat greens!
OHHHH YESS! I love soup, and I love anything that lets me load up on yummy veg
Ohhhh yes!!! Love everything about Pho. Love the vibes from this video. :D

Omg this looks PHOking good!! Been wanting a pho recipe veganised !!
Awesome recipe! Thanks guys!
Normally I tune out after 2 minutes of anything unless it's extraordinarily engaging. Keep doing what you are doing guys!
Never tried but will make asap. Looks awesome and I'm sure it tastes as good 😁

I love it when you guys say “ and now I will add three tbsp of sesame oil”. Then you just dump the shit in. Lol lol. You all don’t even measure. Ya gotta luv it!
Looks awesome😍
Mmmm...will definitely be making some of this!
This looks like a PHO I would enjoy! Can't wait to try it out!
A perfect combo tamari and orange mushrooms yum.
2:01 thanks for putting the last piece of chili in the pot ahhhh that feels so good!
Looks great!
Ill be making this for sure😍
Aaaa my favourites at your show, lovely, big hello from Germany 👌
Trying to cut down on salt, what's your opinion on coconut aminos as an alternative to tamari?
Definitely far from Pho'... but it does look tastey, just don't call it Pho'

Agreed, looks good but it's not phở. I'd recommend Helen's Recipes Phở Chay: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eaCVuKWTpqyTn5s.html . Vietnam is paradise for vegans with tiny vegan shops everywhere. Just look for "Quán ăn chay" or "Quán chay" and you'll find a good meal.

I loved this recipe. I could not be a traditional Pho (as some users claimed), but it's tasty, isn't it? What could we do with remainings of the base broth?

They made enough for 4 - 6 servings even though they only plated up one but I do see what you're saying. I'd start with about 1/2 what the recipe calls for then see how it tastes. You can always add a little sweetness at the end if you need to. If you are used to dishes with less sweetness, it will probably taste OK.
Henry..when you were travelling in SE Asia was that during the time you were planning Pingtune expansion in SE Asia? Just curious.

Love the new book, purchased at Waitrose salisbury after watching the Happy Pear gentlemen cook up a storm while entertaining us for the afternoon. I've already made two of the delicious recipes
Looks fab, only 6 tbsp of sesame or any other oil is a lot!
Yaaaasssss
I appreciate your recipe and this looks yummy but this isn’t pho. You didnt use the right noodle or roast the spices. There is no bok choy, mint, orange juice, maple syrup... in pho. And the noodles need to be cooked separately. Pho is the most famous Vietnamese traditional food. I understand there are different ways of making a dish but you can’t make any bowl of noodle soup and call it “pho”.

Before you start bashing people for their take on a dish, you should realize that Vietnamese Pho is actually based off of a French dish. No food is 100% original. No art is.

Authentic Asian soup spoons and chopsticks would be great.
Lol@ putting ORANGE JUICE in pho 🙈
You guys said two onions but it looks like you guys threw in less than one! Help
I understand that it is a vegan take on the Pho, but not even using the proper noodles is quite disappointing. There's nothing related to Pho

You guys put your own twist and kart wheel on Pho. I'm normally a traditionalist, but I know the importance of evolution and innovation. It's good because it's yours now. Call it "Pho Bosh Happy Pear". The most important thing is refining the taste and a small following cult. Cheers and best of luck.

What they made was a wonderful looking Western style súp chay and I'm glad they did but it's definitely not phở. Western interpretations of other cutures' cuisines should be welcomed but we should still respect the names. For an authentic phở chay check out Helen's Cuisine version: kzread.info/dash/bejne/eaCVuKWTpqyTn5s.html

Pho isn’t spicy …but very cool
This is not pho. It is offensive to consider this pho.
it looks like Ramen rather than Pho. Sure taste is yumm but work on the presentation guys :) Your Vietnamese and other Pho-lovers would appreciate that!

james fancourt I was not rude and of course it's vegan you ass! Now I'm going to be rude because you replied to me twice and haven't been nice once! I never spelled out the world exactly in capital letters nor did I say the word exactly! I simply commented that it might be too much ginger for most people and that a twenty-something court that of pho use that much Ginger. I simply commented that I thought it was a great deal of Ginger and they said it was! You can get off my back now I don't know who the hell you are but unless you manage these guys leave me alone! And I want to know who the hell and which one of you from this channel highlighted a reply back to me again?? Every time I say anything you highlight the reply to me! james fancourt do you understand that you have harassed me? I explained myself the first time I was pretty clear in my very first comment to them but twice you had to come back at it and that meant coming back at me. Do you get that from behind your keyboard you can hurt people? Can you understand that a woman sitting alone in her home on a Sunday afternoon is crying because of something you said and then it was highlighted? Do you understand that I'm as real behind my phone as you are real behind your keyboard? Think about it sometime. And then check on who was rude. Have a great day! :-)

Ok I'm sorry while I have loved watching The Happy Pear and tried recipes so this isnt to insult your channel I bought this book on a whim in TK max and i was super excited to try this recipe with my bf especially as i missed Pho from when i visited Vietnam. While I understand making vegan substitutes this tasted nothing like Pho and actually didnt taste good at all! Why 100ml of maple syrup just why? I would reccomend you both visit Vietnham and do some research properly before claiming to know how to create a vegan version on an Asian dish. Not a happy customer 2 very upset stomachs 🤬
