You have to follow the instructions to the t... as with all semi fashion colours it's best done on pre bleached hair. You have to use an acidic shampoo before you start. Dry hair by 80% then apply the fixing aqua ensuring good coverage and dry by 50%. Then you apply colour and cover with a cap. You should then heat for 15 to 20 minutes (heat treatment) can be done with a bonnet or hairdryer. You then take the cap off and re spray fixing aqua to help with longer adhesion of colour. Then reapply the cap and wrap in a cool towel (cool treatment) for 10 minutes. Once you have done this I would recommend leaving the hair to air cool for 30mins. Once done then you rinse till excess colour removed and condition with an acidic conditioner. Always wash in cool water. If used correctly this is a good range to use, however it's not a quick fix like using directions etc. So I would say this range is more for the experienced and those who don't mind sticking to the method to get a good and lasting result. If you don't have the time and patience it will result in a bit of a disappointment. Please bare in mind though that re bleaching or colour removal will be required every 4 months or so as with existing deposit your colour will get darker with each application, which for some colours may be great but not all will want this if using the stronger shades. If you are switching up your colours the of course colour removal is recommended to ensure true colours even applied:) Soooooo to summarise.. you can do this at home but you need to get the method clear in your head before you do it to get a success. Like with any product though, there will always be those that love it and those that don't :). Hope this helped a little:)

I totally agree. I tried to do it the best I can but I really do think the colors I chose were too pastel for my thin Asian hair. I made do with what I had and wrapped my head in warm and cold towels to help with the process. It's definitely one of the more intricate items and I wanted this review to reflect that. Maybe both the video and your comment will help those researching on the right dye 😍

I actually used this to dye my hair, I used sky blue and the blue was darker than actual sky blue but it looked good, I only did two streaks in the front and I bleached it beforehand, it came out light the first time but the second time I left it on for longer and it looked really good, I personally recommend it because it worked in my case

Thank you for this! I'm about to try out their orange, I usually use Jerome Russell punky color, add I'm a bit nervous about this taking so much effort for so little result 😬🤞

Yes if you have pre bleached hair and follow all the instructions. To me, the formula isn't as easy to work with as other brands but it's worth a shot.

So Anthocyanin is absolutely vegan? :)
