My final Top 20 video for 2019. This is for the overall quickest VAG (Volkswagen Group) car over the 1/4 mile, filmed by VeeDubRacing. As always, some of the cars may have ran quicker times, and there may be cars I have missed. I can't get every run!! If you did run a quicker time, don't be pissed off, just post it up in the comments for everyone to see. I have to thank Mk1Kieran, and Luke Stevenson for sending me footage of the runs, that I missed myself, that I just had to include. Most of that will be tyres and suspension setup. Suspension setup for drag is crucial

I swear I was like why the fuck does he have a wheelie bar then I looked at how it was built I'm thinking it's more for keeping it in a straight line

They are called traction bars on a fwd car. Weight will always transfer backwards under acceleration, the traction bars try to stop this and keep the weight over the front wheels to limit wheelspin and maximise traction.

I didn't manage to film them last year :( and they ran a 9.46. Still the quickest diesel fwd car in Europe. Would have made them No 9 on the list

Explained in details. It is Volkswagen Group or Volkswagen Audi Group which is why there is a Lambo on the list, as they own them as well.

VAG + 1/4 = Words that don't go together. Vag's shine on auto courses...like seeing a very mildly built street legal Mk1 TT take down an $80k sportscar. ..yet can barely pull a 13sec 1/4.
