Not really. There is a better way to show why l1 norm is rectangular (just write the norm equation, and it represents 4 pairs of lines). Then again, I’m thankful to the channel for this video.

One suggestion, it would have been easier to explain l1 norm being the diamond by just expressing the norm equation (it’s basically 4 sets of lines subject to the individual conditions of x and y, within their domains which is the set of 4 quadrants).
