"If I didn't have a black thumb and a shady garden, I'd plant some myself!" The legendary Julia was absolutely charming!

What fun it is to now be able to watch these first seasons of Julia cooking and teaching others how to do it. I grew up in the late 70’s and early 80’s watching her and learning how to cook and as a chef myself I can say that it was her that inspired me to cook. She was such a jewel she is missed.

I like the way she says butter. A little bit of an H after the double T's.

I love watching these videos… I have always enjoyed Julia’s recipe but I miss the ‘old fashioned’ 3 course meals cooked at home….. entertaining at its best❤❤❤❤

Julia is cooking before the excellent tongs we all use burst upon the kitchen scene. Best kitchen tool design ever.

My only question, why throw out the scallion greens when you’re going to top it all with greens? Anyway, I know different times, etc. still love the show. Love Jacques Fast Food My Way as well. Grocery store as sous chef.

She mentioned it regarding the pears, and then went right into a pan of melted butter. 😀
