VCI 300 Problems
So here we go, I had my vci 300 for about a year, and after uses and practices I did on it, my left Jog wheel started to act weird. When i spinned Jog wheel, it wasn't Red all the time and it used to flash Blue at some points.(Believe me i tried adjusting sensors in the back) After reading forums on Serato website, I noticed that there where several other people who had the same problems. People said that it could take up to a month to get your vci send and fixed. I decided to do it myself and recorded this video for those people who had the same problem, by their requests. So here we go how can you fix your vci when touch sensor is not working properly.

fotifo you are a legend my man !!!!!!! i done what you showed on your video and my VCI-300 is now fixed, its like BRAND NEW !!!! it works perfectly as soon as turn it on, no more waiting until it decides it wants to work, lol and all i done was cleaned the gold poll !!!!!! brilliant, thanks fotifo
I did this, works great, its actually the little brass rubbing contact that gets dirty and stops working, a quick clean up and its good as new. Thanks for the heads up!
Even though it skips at a crucial point....the method works a hundred percent. My sensitivity level is at peak so I thank u for the tutorial. Try this method if your decks are not as touch sensitive as they should be. I bless you for this video.

did that... my right sensor is much better. i bought a bad to keep my vci far from dust... when im not using it... my sensor are much better thanks.. i at the same time added screws at the end of the fader... for scratch all great... cheers

ok good vid i must say i had Problems to find the screws after i opened that vci. Thats kind of tricky because there are different screws and its importent witch screws are first to tighten and witch at least.

question, does it matter how tight or loose the screws in the back are? and also at first the jog wheels work perfectly but as soon as i start scratching one wheel would stay red.
@fotifo I've done this fix before. It works for a few weeks perfectly but now is back to losing jog wheel sensitivity like before. It flashes blue when I have constant touch of the wheel. Any idea why its doing it again or any other ideas to apply a more long lasting fix? Thanks.

Hello, i just bought the vci 300 about a month ago used off ebay, i noticed that the right jog wheel seems to be stuck on red after i take my hand off the platter... to return it to blue i have to lift up on the clear plastic piece. This is a problem while doing, i was wondering if doing what you did in the video will fix this problem. And if so, what specifically do i need to do..clean dust off, move the metal piece, ect. Thank you very much -tyler
