Through Disney and First 5 California's 'Magic Of Story Telling' campaign and donation, VCFD was able to gift 500 books to James Storehouse California for the children the serve, helping to cultivate the next generation of storytellers and ensuring that all young people have an opportunity to believe in the possibilities, build new skills and create the future they imagine.
From cribs to college, James Storehouse supports children in foster care and community members in Ventura County and is a Spark of Love holiday toy recipient, serving over 700 children and youth a month.
