depending on the age of the battery it is being treated differently. That's why. Any change of the serial number (+1) is OK

Gino Kwick the other day i tried checking my bat voltage with vcds but it says group unavailable, i guess it is not coded?

@@iplaybose check bat voltage with VCDS? You set the capacity in Ah in VCDS. And change the serial so that it knows the bat is new. If VCDS tells you "group unavailable" it may be not present. Do you have start/stop? Recuperation? If not you may not have this battery management so you do not have to worry imho

Start-stop will not operate until you can knows that is new battery in.

nerád byi som šíril nejaké bludy. tak radšej poviem že neviem. ale viem napr. že batéria EPB+ sa používa pre autá so start/stop systémom a je o 20€ drahšia ako normálna leadacid

Dnes jsem měnil aku v Oct 110kW tdi a něco tam kódovali. Předtím jsem se díval na údaje jako ve videu a bylo tam JCB a s/n samé jedničky.Baterka byla ta stejná MOLL. Podle.mě to není k ničemu. Stejně mi vybitá aku odstavila auto na dva dny. Motor se dusil a nešel do otáček. Při rejdu dokonce zdechal protože to nemělo šťávu..na hovno ty nový auta

dobre je to k tomu, aby riadiaca jednotka vedela, ze je tam nova baterka a davala alternatoru prikaz na spravne dobijanie. Ak to neupravis po vymene baterky, alternator dobija nespravne a baterka vydrzi ovela menej.
