Yeah, his later stuff us much better. This is borderline country, his Jazzier stuff I like more

The classic Decca label! The Who’s early singles were on that label but yours is obviously older. Nice 45!

Some of the 45 labels in the 50's and 60's would put the date on them. I'm looking at one now on Mercury by Narvel Felts released on June 10, 1957. Dot records did that as well. Decca never did.

Yeah I've noticed most albums until the later 60s don't either
