Very nice, Alex. It is a good reminder to everyone that during the pandemic turntables are probably getting more than normal usage.

yep, just 4 records a day for a year is about 1,070 hours on that stylus...

Peace man... great post. I checked the site briefly, and value for the money looks decent, provided the sounds holds true. There are also some heavy hitters on that DJ endorsement list... but like you said... 'supposedly'. I'm currently running an Ortofon Red and Blue, respectively, depending on what I'm listening to. Stay solid.

I'm in exactly the same boat with my Nagaoka MP-110. I'm on my second stylus and debating whether the inflated price is worth it for a third. Enjoyed this! Those look great. I'm jealous of you're whole bedroom dj setup. Great stuff as always.

yeah not sure what's going on with nagaoka prices...plenty of good carts around, I'm sure you'll find one.

The Numark CC-1 are made by Taruya. The only difference is the finger lift arm design.

Do you know if any one of the Taruya stylus could fit the Numark head shell for the cs/cc?

Very nice man...never heard of Taruya but sounds good to me. Take care!

Thanks for sharing. I'm going the other direction. Dug out my old Empire 2000e cart. I'll look for a replacement stylus from LP Gear... Styluses are definitely cheaper in Japan...

Those look sweet, Alex. No DJ here also, but really like the benefits a DJ setup gives spinning records. Cheers. /Paul

yes, nice to be able to cue up a track easily

Do they mention a break in period for the styli? Those look sharp and sleek like a stealth jet. Was just looking at their output voltage and it's similar to Shure's M44-7...Loud. With the M44-7, the low end is noticibly boosted which is why I stopped using them. I need dynamics for my type of DJ'ing. Keep us abreast on how they treat you.

Hey dude i was wondering if the cartridge was a plug and play or do you have to align the stylus?

It’s plug and play with all non-head shell style cartridges just make sure to adjust the counterweight respectively.

how does it sounds those ones compared to Nagaoka MP 150, Alex?

did not A/B them, would have been kind of pointless since the old stylus was worn out and the new was not broken in

I'll do another room tour but not sure I'll be spending much time talking about gear. I do recommend the needles, quality product.

@@diamond_marimba that’s what I was looking for. Thinking of upgrading my m-447s to Taruyas. Shame there’s not more info out about them.

yeah I needed something I can cue up tracks with when I do streams. if you're just playing records maybe going up the nagaoka line is an better option for you. I can recommend the MP-150.

@@diamond_marimba nah. I need something more than that. The Taruyas are on my radar.
