ahahah you can t imagine what i have found inside my vaccum cleaner, i am glad i watched your video that helped me a lot!!! i have different model but you did it! Imagine 3 years later your video helping!!! that s amazing, have a nice day
Thanks for this very helpful video, we've just cleaned our vax, we've even opened the compartment with the electromotor, it was full of dust. I have mannaged to unscrew the screws below the buttons by detatching only the front part of the buttons. 👍👍👍
how bloody long it took to find a video on how to open one of these buggers! my cord retractor isn't holding when you pull the cord out, but it is clearly designed to fail, cheap plastic crap. but, you helped immensely in getting in there to find out. my gratitude and thanks. and for a unit I pulled out of a skip bin, it's the best vacuum I've owned lol silly sod previous owners clearly didn't check both filters. I've found you can wash the filers by hand and they just keep on trucking, no need to buy new ones.
brilliant video my vax c-87 lost suction I washed both filters ( bottom one not washable thank you vax) still no suction then i cleaned gauze ..suction restored plus thank you for helping me install new motor in my AEG vac last year
Thanks for this very helpful video!!!
Thanks so much for this video; I couldn't find the last two screws hidden under the buttons.
came across this video because of over heating issues with this exact vacuum cleaner. The gauze filter appears completely clean and with both the pre and post motor filters removed it blows out soooo much heat, almost instantly. Its like a high powered hair dryer. There is no question with its suction but it cuts out after a minute easily.

fullboostchick I have the same issue too. Really can’t afford a big repair bill. Did you solve it?
Dude, thank you so much!
Thanks for a very informative video!… I agree with the comments below about designing it to fall apart with shoddy materials 😩ours continually overheats I’ve even bought another similar one but still has breakage and low performance issues… and extremely 747 noisy 😬 I have cleaned everything inside my vax ….. except the motor!!!…that’s my last thing left in this piece of sh…t
very helpful, thanks a lot!
Thank you soo much bro👍
hi, and thx a lot! you have saved my money with it, but is this the only way to clean the vacuum cleener?
Thanks so much for posting this. My Vax Zen had lost suction and was turning off because of overheating. Cleaned the dog hair and fluff out of the gauze filter, and now a marked improvement. Why wasn't this in the instruction manual? Are the suppliers hoping you'll bring your cleaner in for repairs and pay money, when anybody can do this in 10 minutes?

Karen Scarman mine has a sticker to say "call if any problems, don't bring back to shop".
I love you videos! Here in the USA I wish they would outlaw those sucky bagless vacuum. The problem with them is they really don't suck. They're always blocked up with something. By the way, no puns intended!
Fixing vacuums with vacuums
Hey Alec, my one turns off around after 5 mins itself. What can be checked? I have washed the top filter, but it still doing it.
