Hey there, my name is Simon of SafeandVaultStore.com here today to talk to you about the Vaultek MXi Large Capacity Smart Safe.
Vaultek has made a big name for themselves with ultra-compact quick-access handgun safes. But this product is a little bit different. It weighs in at 32 pounds. It's meant to be bolted directly to the floor or to a nightstand and has the capacity of up to eight handguns with accessories.
There are five methods of access on this safe. You can use the rapid-fire backlit keypad. You can use the upgraded smart align biometric sensor which is capable of storing up to 20 fingerprints. You can use the included nano key or the Vaultek Smart Phone app for remote opening. There is a concealed mechanical backup key on top for use in emergencies. If your battery is dying or you've misplaced those keys, you can use the micro-USB port on the side of the safe to power your lock.
The interior has an automatic light that comes on when the safe is opened. It comes standard with a twin pistol rack, but it has expansion slots allowing for storage of up to six handguns as well as extra magazines. In addition, there is a removable tray at the top, large enough to fit letter-sized documents without folding them. Or you can use that space for additional firearms, ammunition, or accessories. At the very top, there are two buttons. These are used for your interior light or programming new codes. Next to that is the compartment for the interior battery.
There is an LCD screen that's placed at the top of the safe. It gives you a visual status readout. You can also use Vaultek's Bluetooth app to manage your settings, view audit logs, you can receive tamper notifications if you're within range of the Bluetooth safe and you can monitor the safe's temperature and humidity levels.
The MXi Large Capacity Smart Safe from Vaultek is a perfect option for someone looking to store multiple handguns and accessories, maybe on a nightstand or in a closet. It comes with all the accessories you see in this video, including the hardware to mount it.
