Likely the best trainer in the world if you look at the sheer flexibility, training methods, techniques, and strategies his son/Usyk employee. Anatoly clearly knows about everything there is to know about boxing. Ontop of this its extremely difficult to find any information on him. Hardly any interviews, no extensive articles about him. Just a quiet ice cold demeanor he always has and the results his fighters put out.

Regular everyday Guy he badly needs a dance partner, another superstar. Haney, Tank, and Ryan getting there, but sadly Loma not getting younger. It sucks for Loma, because he won’t even get the credit he deserves if he beats Lopez next, and there’s no super star at 140 neither lol, even tho that’s to big for him anyway, he’s pushing it at 135. As of right now, the only way for him to get the recognition ur asking about is to get Pac or Mikey to move down and he move up and fight one of them. Which I highly doubt his father or Arum would allow, because they making him move back down after his next fight. So really Tank Davis is his only hope at that big super fight.

He is basically torturing those guys on a slow burn instead of taking them out. He knows exactly the right amount of punishment to dish out to keep them defensive and wary, w\o taking them out. He is a showman who knows how to use his opponent's pain to give the fans extra entertainment value.Ali was like this too. Its actually borderline sadistic and I like it in my fave boxers ;o).

They quit because of the way he steadily increases the pressure as the fight goes on. This is a well known tactic employed by Loma. The ones that do quit do so about halfway through the fight as they are being overwhelmed with no answer to his pressure, knowing it's only going to get worse for them, and they're only going to get finished anyway. His dominance demoralizes them to the point that they quit. It's as simple as that. Truly astonishing considering he does this to top level professionals.

This is literally a perfect documentary of Loma, the fact that you slow down the good bits and include the sounds of the gloves (hate when its just slo mo and music, you dont get the gravity). Showcasing the intent behind the fights makes his record more credible to those who don't know, showing the records of the fighters, hearing opinions and snake's death noise just the hilarious cherry on top....well done.

Lomachenko has an old school mentality and I love it. I'm scared of Walters? Watch this. I'm scared of Rigondeaux? Watch this. Linares is the best Lightweight? Watch this. You think Teofimo can beat me? Watch this. I mean he doesn't just say he wants to fight the best out there... He shows it to us. He proves it. Amazing.

WGGames 14 No one. But ayy based common sense I’d go with Loma. He has proven that even when he gets in the dark place he can push through and come out harder. A boxer who can adapt mid fight is always dangerous... mix unorthodox training and an impenetrable willpower and beautiful things are possible. Boxing is like life honestly... it’s all about who wants it more.

Just commenting to future viewers that Loma may have won that fight but his performance in the 12th left me with the feeling he had just given it away. Boxing score cards are often nonsensical and pointless relics of corrupt times we need to evolve past. For your personal opinion of who won the fight you must remember that Loma is a 125lb man bulked up to 135 for a challenge. Haney is a 160lb man who starves down to 135 to face as small of competition as possible. You will never see Haney move up two weight classes past his natural weight to challenge anyone. Haney will eventually discover that having dieting as your primary talent will never lead to respect, no matter how many little guys you fight.

I think we all boxing fans and practitioners are enjoying the privilege of watching a fighter like Lomachenko and his trainer-father. It just doesn't get any better; it's not perfection but it's the closest to perfection that humans can get in boxing. The mind, the skills, the plan, the physical attributes, everything in him and his father on the corner make the close-to-perfect machine. I think boxing itself needed something like Lomachenko.
