This performance is much better than I had remembered when I watched it in 2004. I guess the quality that was mentioned earlier was the thing. I could care less about the image comments. Nude was incredible, as was the 2009 show I watched, which had a keyboardist. :-) I believe "Desert Garden" was the other song performed on the show that night.

They still do stuff occasionally iirc. Just tapered down a lot. Michael Cry (the bass player) was my dad's roommate for a bit and they would occasionally do a show or maybe a tour but not anything too consistent.

wow, do i love this song. The live version isn't nearly as good as on the album, where the singing in much crisper, and the background choir brings the song from great to epic.

It's not about his size.. it never has been. I've been lucky enough to hang out with him, and the band in a previous incarnation. on a couple occasions (even have pics). He has always had self image issues.. and was under MAJOR pressure to lose weight before sony would even release the first album.. and about killed himself to look the way he did.. that look the girls love.. was never healthy for him. so it's best to let it go.. that Jon was the package the label sold you..
