A documentary film named #VASE40, about Billericay Town Football Club's three historic FA Challenge Vase wins at Wembley in 1976, 1977 and 1979. The film was partly funded on Kickstarter and first screened at BTFC on 28th April 2019, 40 years to the day of the last BTFC win at Wembley. DVDs were produced.
The interviews were recorded at Billericay Town Football Club, Blunts Wall Lane, Billericay on 7th September 2018 by Rob Wisdom.

"At long last I had the opportunity to watch your film.
I knew very little about the club, save that I have met ex manager John Newman on a few occasions (normally having my biased eyes fixed only on THFC).
Having watched the film I now know what it’s all about, you have perfectly captured not only the history of the club but revealed it’s heart and soul.
I really enjoyed it, well done, I was left with a tear in my eye.
It has made it all the more poignant that I had the honour to lay the remembrance wreath at the Billericay memorial on behalf of the Lord Lieutenant.
I now doubly feel a connection with the Town.
I trust all those who have seen it so far have given you glowing reports for such a fitting tribute."

Very interesting from a Stamford supporter who was at all three of Stamfords Vase Finals
I want to say a huge thank you to the makers of the film and all the memories it brought. back. I was at all three finals, the replay in Nottingham (Dad took us out of school to drive up there that day), all the home games whatever the weather, most of the away games and even some training nights. I loved the footage of the bus ride through the High Street - we followed it from New Lodge all the way. I still have my autograph book of all the players who would graciously sign after the games. Great memories of good times.
