When I was young my father and I lived in rural Nevada. It is as classic western as you can get. We would hunt with friends in the northern mountains near a small town. There was a bar there that my friend and I liked after a hunt. Since it was rough riding Nevada, we could sit up at the bar. They had a tap for hot chocolate and we would sip it next to the stuffed bobcat over the fireplace, while admiring the animal heads. Dark country like this was always playing softly in the background. The good old days.

I mean, *western* states usually are pretty outlaw-oriented, so that's not a huge surprise. Cheers from Arizona. We had the same thing where I'm from, in between Marty Robbins and the occasional corridos.

Playing Hunt: Showdown while listening to this is great as well. Until somebody comes and kills you because you couldn't hear them.

This entire type of country style reminds me of my dad's taste of old country and till today he still enjoys it. I am more of a doom metal enthousiast and feel the same vibe in a certain way. Just awesome music. Nice and Dark moods..
