A mislabeled 6-pack from a local nursery turned into a delectable surprise! We enjoyed tatsoi daily all winter whether raw in salads or cooked in soups. It grew well in my low tunnel raised bed along with a variety of herbs and lettuces. This lovely, fast-growing Asian green is unsurpassed by any other garden green -- the leaves are tender, succulent, tasty, and highly nutritious.

Hey - I just discovered you. Great idea on showcasing varieties. I have just planted three plants in rock wool to grow hydroponically here in VT. It will be great to have some fresh greens since we are avoiding going out during the pandemic. I can’t wait to binge watch your other discoveries.

Thanks for making this video, I've had the same problem for some things I want to grow. I just planted some Tatsoi a few days ago here in Florida and it's already sprouted, I'm so excited to try it!

Thanks for the inspiration. I have at least three tatsoi seed packs just hanging around and I've just been shrugging them off. I wanted to see if there were any videos on it and yours came up. I definitely will give it a go! Down here in Louisiana we should be able to grow it over the winter. Thanks again.

Great introduction to tatsoi video. Thank you! I just ordered tatsoi from Kitazawa Seed. (First order - just arrived) Cold hardy down to 15 degrees can make valuable during winter for lots of folks. I'd wondered if it was like bok choy which was also in my order. Hope your channel grows well - you do nice work. You get to the point, are easy to understand, and convey info I don't see elsewhere. Subscribed. :-) PS: I really like your garden as well - very organized and well cared for.

I love Tatsoi. Probably my favorite green. I'd eat it everyday, but as I understand, they contain goitrogens, which can put a damper on the thyroid if you're not careful.
