Variants of Dangerous Men

Inspired by something I'd watch recently, I decided to compile my thoughts on the subject of types of dangerous men! As Sun Tzu once said, 'know your enemy!'

i always thought you had a wookie when i heard your dog in the background in your other videos! the most dangerous people I've met were very calm even in crazy situations and didn't waste words, they just acted like it was nothing and didn't get animated when doing what they felt needed to be done, just calm delivery and then carry on to the exit

I think the hardest part about self defense is knowing when to stop. Righteous indignation may lead to murder when you are up against a sadistic abuser that you see in action, for instance. I must admit that this scares me a little (personally)

Just one remark: JBP is a clinical psychologist not a psychiatrist > difference is: a psychiatrist is a medical doctor and looks at the mind through a "what is disfunctional and needs my skills and prescriptions"-lense, while a psychologist is more of a scientist looking at it from a " how is it working and how can this process be supported in finding a more optimal equilibrium"-perspective

Great talk Lee and I agree totally with the most dangerous man - the weak man. I have been surrounded by them at work for a long time, people who never stand on principle let alone for anyone else. The department I worked for was run by weak men, weak men only promoted other weak men that would cut their own mothers throat if someone with more rank told them to. And, exactly as you said when I took the department to task, they hid behind each other and protected their own like the fleas they are. These people sold their hearts and spines for a few bucks🤦‍♂️. It is good to hear your talks and to know there are real stand up guys out there still, and I was blessed to have grown up with men like you so I knew the difference when I landed in an department full of fleas😂 and now I have left them to it. Thank you for the fantastic talks🥊🥊👍👍

here is a clip from my favorite movie "Sergeant York" which illustrates the point of good men being put in the position of having to defend themselves and their country. it is the true story of a conscientious objector who was forced to fight in ww1. he rose to the occasion and killed 26 germans and captured 132, SINGLE HANDEDLY with only a bolt action rifle and sidearm, winning the congressional medal of honor in the process. I came across a hierarchy model that finally made sense to me and has been helpful in how to deal with others. It's called the sexual-social hierarchy (by Vox Day). He distinguishes the Alpha (high social status, high sexual status), the Bravo (right hand man to the Alpha, good sexual status), the Delta (the worker, lower sexual status), the Gamma aka the beta male (lower social status, lower sexual status), the Omega (lowest social status, lowest sexual status). Then there's the Sigma who doesn't really fit in socially (dislikes social interaction, intelligent, capable, sexually succesful), he's the quintessential lone wolf. All have their strengths and weaknesses. One could argue that the Delta actually is the most important of the lot. He doesn't need much, only recognition for his work, the love of a woman or his family. Without him nothing would get done. Sigmas can be leaders but often dislike the burden that comes with it, they prefer to do their own thing and do it well. It can be hard though, Sigmas can sometimes lack the social skills for smooth interaction. They can be mocked and ridiculed by others for going their own way or lacking high social status. Thing is, the Sigma doesn't want that because they're more comfortable on their own. Sigmas can deal with strong social pressure better than most of the others simply because they have to. It's the German in the crowd who refuses to do the salute while the rest around him all have their arm raised. This inner strength also makes them sexually attractive to a lot of women but this also gets them to be resented by Gammas. Which leads to jealousy, gossip and backstabbing. The Gamma is the most destructive. Don't employ them, especially not when there's women around. This is your average soyboy. He's got decent intelligence (up to 120 IQ) and often considers himself superior to everyone because of the Dunning-Kruger effect. He shuns physical conflict and is often disliked by others. This is also the male feminist who is an ally to women but grows resentful (sometimes dangerously so) if he gets rejected. He hates Alphas and Sigmas because they get the girls and he doesn't. Often fancies himself a Sigma but doesn't realise that he wouldn't have the inner strength to go against the grain like the Sigma does and couldn't handle the social pressure and jealousy of Gammas directed towards Sigmas. According to this model, status can depend on the situation. For example, Sigmas can be very good Bravos if they respect the Alpha. Alphas tend to be weary of the Sigma, they recognise a potential threat to their status but that disappears when they see the Sigma has no interest in their position. Sigmas don't like the drama that comes with the Alpha status and often just don't have the patience or skills to deal with midwits, pettiness and jealousy.

Being the halfbreed, half sheep dog (standing up for good) but also being half wolf (you will know also the dark) which gives you the same cunning as the wolf to your advantage! So it makes you the grey jedi, you know the predator because you are one, but ultimately you stand for good!

Those that say that there is only light and dark are those speaking from the dark. The journey of pulling oneself out of 'the shit' and back into 'the light' means you are likely to be traveling through shaded paths - the grey. As they have indicated in many a movie often our worst enemy is ourselves - 'you' are ever present with yourself - your friends, loved ones, adversaries and enemies are not...
