ನಾವು ಸಣ್ಣ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯವರ tape recorder ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲ pindrop silence ನಿಂದ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು. ಸಿನೆಮಾಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಗುರುರಾಜಲು ನಾಯ್ಡು ಅವರ ಹರಿಕಥೆ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. No one replace ಗುರುರಾಜಲು ನಾಯ್ಡು. He always number one. 🙏🙏

I am 90's kid but still I m obsessed with Gururaj Naidu's sir harikathe the way he explains the emotions of the characters in harikathe almost feels like the character is alive in front of eyes great work sir I would wish the custom follows through your every generation 😊

ಈ episode ನೋಡಿ ನನ್ಗೆ ನೆನಪಾಯ್ತು. ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕವಳಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅಂದರೆ ಹೈಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಇರಬಹುದು. ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ನಳದಮಯಂತಿ ಹರಿಕಥೆಯ cassette ಇತ್ತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ದಮಯಂತಿ ಪಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಷ್ಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿರೋದನ್ನ ಕೇಳಿದ್ರೆ ನಿಜವಾಗ್ಲೂ ಕಣ್ಣಿಂದನೇ ನೋಡ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೀವಿ ಅನಿಸ್ತಿತ್ತು. ನಾನು ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೆ. ಅವರು ಯಾರು ಅಂತ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾದದ್ದು ಈಗ ಸರ್. 🙏🙏🙏.

I saw shri. Gururajulu Naidu when I was kid around in 1975/1976/1977 at Jugunahalli, Near Rajajinagar RTO on occasion of Ganesha Festivals and i'm very interested to hear his Haridasa Kathegalu. He used to tell Upaakathegalu in break of main story and it was very comedy and meaningful words within that. I am happy to share those days moments now.

Even we. Use to listen and in our house we use to listen ur father stories now also we make our grand children to listen they like too. We cannot forget those Hari kathe

My Mother,Father and I used to go to Hanumantanagar,( shani devara devasthana), chamarajapet( ramaseva mandali), Brahmachaitanya mandira ( srinivasa nagar/bank colony) these are the places we used to go to listen GNaidu and Shobha naidu

Harikathye starts at around 9pm and will wind up by 5.30am or 6am. And most of the harikatha dasaru stand for so many hours. They really know to pull the crowd. And what a great voice and pitch.
