One of my favourite of the new generation of top class Le Mans Prototypes, here is a video on the Vanwall Vandervell 680 LMH. This LMH was one of the loudest and best sounding cars in the race this year, but sadly I could not capture as much footage as I would have wanted due to of course only one car participating, and the engine failure in the early hours of the morning. Vanwall formerly named ByKolles, have never finished Le Mans, this year sadly not being any different. Their LMP1 would catch fire during the 2016 running of the race, DNF due to a crash on the opening lap in 2017, crash out yet again in 2018, fail to finish due to electrical problems in 2019, and would suffer a rear wing failure in 2020, meaning an embarrassing 6 consecutive DNFs for the team at Le Mans.
